Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are turning a new leaf in their career as they settle in the US and venture into more individual endeavors.

2023 has been an epic turn of events for both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Duke of Sussex held the 2023 edition of the Invictus Games in Germany, a multi-national sports event for wounded veterans. Along with maintaining the legacy that the royal created in 2014, Harry also broke records by releasing his memoir Spare.

Expert claims Meghan Markle and Harry ‘can do anything they want’

Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stepped down from active royal duties, the couple faced a world of criticism but royal expert Sharon Carpenter claims in an interview that the duo can finally do whatever they want as they start a number of new ventures after shifting to the U.S.

The British Broadcaster says in an interview: “The world is their oyster at this point in time,” adding “They could do anything they want to do.”

Harry breaks record with his memoir, Spare

Apart from Meghan Markle’s podcast deal with Spotify ending, 2023 has shown that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s impact is huge across the globe. Prince Harry’s Spare made history as it sold more than 1.4 million copies on its release day and surpassed former President Barack Obama’s 2020 memoir’s first-day sale to become the fastest-selling nonfiction book of all time, according to Guinness World Records.

Reports also claim that Harry’s Spare was only the beginning as the royal couple have apparently signed a four-book deal with Penguin Random House. Sources reportedly claimed that Harry negotiated the book deal adding: “His starting price was $25million (£18million) and the final figure was way north of that, possibly as much as $35-40million (£25-29million).”

Along with the book deal, Prince Harry has reportedly joined hands with Netflix and signed a $100 million deal with the streaming platform. On the other hand, rumors say that the former TV show star Meghan Markle is also planning to write a memoir in the future.
