Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have stepped down from their official royal duties in 2020, many experts have claimed the popularity of the Duke and Duchess will only go down. The royal couple showed their true impact through numerous projects, most prominently through Harry’s memoir Spare. The sales of which made history as the best-selling non-fiction in the U.S.A. However, their Spotify deal abruptly coming to an end poses a question, of whether everything is going as planned for Meghan Markle and Harry’s Hollywood career.

Reports claim Harry and Meghan have enough to say about their Spotify deal ending. The couple made a deal with the music platform for a reported cool $20 million for their podcast Archetypes and other content. But only after one season of Archetypes, Spotify parted ways with the royals.
Speaking over the ’embarrassing’ chapter of the celebrity couple, a source claimed: “They were basically fired by Spotify, which is embarrassing, but Harry and Meghan are now fighting back by telling their side of the story.
“Yes, they’ve made mistakes, but they have big plans for their next endeavor.”
The criticism for Harry and Meghan’s every project runs rampant on the Internet, and the source added the entertainment industry is also talking about the future of their ’empire.’
“Practically everyone in Hollywood is talking about how Harry and Meghan’s empire is crumbling,” the source added.
Meghan is “not a great audio talent” – CEO says
While Harry and Meghan move on with their other ventures, including their multi-million Netflix and four-book deal – which sources claim could include the Duchess’ own memoir – with Penguin Random House, the criticism for the podcast seems never-ending.
Jeremy Zimmer, CEO of United Talent Agency was unapologetic while passing his remark on Meghan Markle. He claimed the former TV star is not “a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent.”
The CEO went on with his comments, adding: “And, you know, just because you’re famous doesn’t make you great at something.”
Harry’s popularity in question after critics jump in
Along with Meghan, Harry has also received quite a bit of mixed criticism from industry experts.
Public relations expert Edward Coram James claimed Prince Harry’s popularity is going downhill.
Explaining the public reaction, he said: “The problem is Harry and Meghan, or specifically Harry, is not the person to achieve change in the media landscape.
“The reason for that is quite simple, he is deeply, deeply unpopular in the UK”
