The poll showed that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s popularity in the US is growing – where Meghan and Harry live. It shows the future monarchs are well-liked. However, Prince Harry and Meghan moved to LA after leaving the royal family in 2020. Meghan Markle was born in America, and grew up in Los Angeles. But now it seems the royal tables have turned.
New poll will leave Meghan and Harry “frustrated”
The royal editor of Talk TV, Sarah Hewson, said Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be feeling ‘frustrated’, despite the bombshell revelations in his book Spare, which was published earlier this year.
William now has an “army of fans” and Kate Middleton “looks like a queen in waiting.”
“It could have very much gone the other way for Kate and William and I think they were very concerned about how the American public might respond to these revelations,” Sarah added.

“But it looks from the polling, that they are siding with Kate and William.”
She claims that this will give the couple a “sense of frustration.”
Tensions have been high for years
It has been revealed that in 2019, Kate was preparing for her birthday celebrations and had a guest list that noticeably left out her brother-in-law and his wife. Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett claim in their book, Royals At War, that it caused a stir with the Sussexes.
“The guest list consisted of her, Prince William, the kids, her mum, dad, sister Pippa, and her husband James Matthews” as she celebrated her day at Kensington Place. This apparently upset Meghan, but the former Hollywood actress wasn’t as annoyed as her husband, who was reportedly “furious.”
Harry is said to have contacted his brother and this is when William told him that he was “tearing the royal family apart”. Despite their dad, King Charles, telling them to “make a good public show of trying to make nice”, there were reported tensions behind closed doors.
Harry is “deeply hurting’ his dad
With the royal rift that arose after Meghan and Harry left the royal family, it’s no surprise that the King feels hurt.
Charles was apparently hurt after he offered an ‘olive branch’ to his youngest to stay at Balmoral while the family commemorated the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death back in September. Harry apparently declined the offer and instead stayed in a hotel.
The move also brought to light how Prince Harry has ‘nowhere left to go’ as the Sussexes have no official residence in the UK.
An insider said of how the rift is affecting King Charles. They claimed: “When he gets to the end of another successful work day and thinks of his family, there will always be a twinge in his heart about a problem he hasn’t been able to solve yet.”
