Speaking to Bella Magazine, royal commentator Jennie Bond has claimed Kate Middleton is “insulted” by what her brother-in-law has said about his family in the past. It comes after Prince Harry spoke about his family in his memoir Spare, as well as the Sussexes’ bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
‘Things have gone too far’ between Kate Middleton and Prince Harry
She explained that although Kate, 41, was often the “peacemaker” there was no coming back from what had been said since Prince Harry decided to leave The Firm in 2020. The royal couple quit working as senior members of the palace to move to the US. This is especially true, says Bond, when it comes to the “brutal attacks” that Harry, 39, apparently launched on Prince William.
Bond said: “I think Catherine has been badly hurt by Harry’s brutal attacks on William, like his decision to reveal so much of what went on during their disagreements [in his memoir Spare].
“Things have gone too far and she feels upset and, quite frankly, hurt and insulted.”

Not on speaking terms
According to GB News, another source said that Kate isn’t ready to speak to either Harry or Meghan Markle, 42. This is despite William wanting his relationship with his brother “to improve.”
“Too much has happened, and she’s not ready yet,” they said.
“William wants his relationship with his brother to improve, but they’re not speaking right now. So when that will happen is still uncertain.”
Royal fans were upset with Kate Middleton
Fans of the royals were also upset with Kate after she “upstaged” her sister-in-law. It came when the family came together for a special day, Archie‘s christening.
Kate wore the same pair of earrings that Princess Diana had once worn – to her youngest son’s christening in 1984 – and fans had their say. They claim that the move back then was “disrespectful.”
One person said at the time: “In all honesty, I think Kate was a tad bit disrespectful and spiteful. She didn’t have to come there sporting Princess Diana’s earrings. I believe she did that intentionally to upstage Meghan’s special moment.”
