Royal experts feel that the distance between the Firm, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got worse with the release of Omid Scobie’s Endgame. While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not associated themselves with the book, there are suspicions that the royal couple had some sort of influence over it.

Conservative MP Bob Seely is proposing a Bill that could take away Prince Harry and Meghan‘s royal titles. As per reports, Seely wants to bring back the law that was previously passed during the First World War to deny enemy German nobles their British titles. If the bill gets passed, Harry and Meghan will be left with Mr. and Mrs. Sussex.
While the drift between Harry and the Firm has been increasing since their official stepping down from active royal duties, the MP has said that the situation is dire now with the release of royal expert Scobie’s new book. Speaking of the shocking claims in Endgame, Seely has called it ‘poisonously insidious’.
Seely’s proposal bill is reportedly named ‘a Bill to amend [the Act] to deprive in certain circumstances Princes of their British Dignities and Titles,’ and can set things in motion if it does not get opposed by the Commons or the Lords within 40 days.
The King and Prince William ‘could’ discuss all options
While Harry and Meghan have not claimed to be a part of Omid’s book, the insiders think that the explosive claims made therein may force the Firm to discuss the situation. Speaking of the Palace’s standpoint, a source said that the King may meet with Prince William to consider all options.
“Undoubtedly they will meet to discuss how best to approach and react to the fallout from the rather tiresome Scobie affair,” the insider claimed.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan wanted to be invited to the royal Christmas celebration but the drama surrounding Omid’s book could cause the Firm to withdraw it.
