A royal biographer has claimed he doesn’t think Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s success or value will last.

After Meghan Markle and her husband stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2020, they have gone on to have lucrative deals with big streaming services such as Netflix. For the platform, they have produced the highly talked about docuseries Harry & Meghan and Prince Harry’s documentary on his Invictus Games. However, despite the Netflix and Spotify deals they had, royal writer Tom Bower doesn’t believe the pair have much success left.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s value has ‘begun to dive massively’

Appearing on Talk TV, Bower explained, he believes they are struggling to “find sources of income.”

“I don’t think it’s immediate. I don’t think they’re about to have to give up the milk deliveries, but I don’t think that when you’re mocked, so publically as they have been, their value begins to nosedive pretty quickly. I don’t think they’re finding any more sources of income,” the writer explained.

“With the stream of money they’re spending on security, on mortgages, on just plain living, I think they can see the end of the road within five years at best.

“They’ve got a real financial problem now,” he claimed.

Meghan and Harry have ‘nothing else to offer’ Bower claims

Bower continued during his appearance to say that he believes Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s value has gone down so much they have “nothing to offer but themselves.”

“The problem is, all they offer the American public is to trash our British royal family,” Bower said. “And their real problem now is that they’re gonna have to find a new act. And they just can’t find one. They’ve got nothing to deliver other than themselves, and they’re not particularly interesting anymore.”

He then proceeded to call former TV star Meghan, 42, a “low-class, soap actress.”

“Her problem is she’s not a great actress. Her career ended long before she arrived in London. That’s why she came here. She couldn’t find any more work after Suits,” he claimed of the former Hollywood actress

He said the only thing the duchess might have left to give audiences, which he said could “be a goldmine” is a possible biography. However, it has been previously claimed it wouldn’t “be as interesting” as 39-year-old Harry’s.

“She has a very, very vivid imagination and she’ll be able to spell out an amazing story of sensation to increase her income.

Bower slammed by broadcaster for his comments on Meghan’s acting

Broadcaster and journalist JJ Ansiobi was on Talk TV recently and slammed Bower after he made comments about the royal’s acting, despite Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s claims of success since leaving The Firm.

“They’ve got no new income streams, no new companies – everything they’ve attempted to do to relaunch themselves, I think, in the end, has been utterly unsuccessful and has failed,” Bower told Closer Magazine.

In response, Ansiobi called Bower an “idiot” and claimed the writer “knows clearly nothing about Hollywood.”

“I won’t call him a misogynist ’cause he’s not mean to all women, just Meghan Markle.

“He knows clearly nothing about Hollywood – stick to the royals Tom because you know nothing about how Hollywood works! Just because she’s signed to a new agency he thinks ‘Wow she should be working straight away.’ It’s not how it works.”

He continued: “The biggest players in Hollywood do not work continually flat-out nonstop. Actually, the people that are less successful who are trudging and trawling trying to get everything they can.”
