As the royal conspiracy hole finds itself expanding, an insider has claimed Meghan Markle is ‘genuinely worried’ about Kate Middleton and has ‘reached out to her’.

The Duchess of Sussex may be on the other side of the Atlantic, but news – and conspiracy theories – travel fast in this age. The Princess of Wales has been away from the spotlight since January after undergoing planned abdominal surgery. Despite Buckingham Palace telling fans the royal will be out of service until after Easter as she recovers, it hasn’t stopped the baseless rumors of where the Princess is. It wasn’t helped when Catherine released an edited photo of her with her three children for UK’s Mother Day last week, as fans jumped on a wonky band wagon with only three wheels – claiming terrible things about the mom-of-three. Now, an insider has claimed Meghan Markle has reached out to Kate Middleton over the whirlwind that has been royal drama over the past few weeks.

Meghan Markle is ‘worried’ about Kate Middleton

A royal author has claimed the 42-year-old Duchess has tried to get in touch with the Princess.

Tom Quinn told The Mirror the mom-of-two has “reached out several times via back channels to Kensington Palace in an attempt to see if there is any chance of getting on better terms with Kate”.

He added: “This is definitely partly because Meghan is genuinely worried about Kate’s health, but she also sees a chance to lose her permanently angry-at-the-royals image.

“Kate won’t want to be seen to rebuff these overtures, but she will be taking advice and the advice so far, I hear, is definitely — don’t take the risk.

“The feeling in Kensington Palace is that if Meghan’s attempts to extend an olive branch are welcomed, it will just re-open old wounds.”

Kate would ‘appreciate the gesture’

It comes after Jennie Bond, BBC royal correspondent, claimed although the pair were not close, a gesture would be “politely accepted”.

Se told OK! Magazine that the Duchess didn’t spend a long time in The Firm to form a decent bond.

She said: “I don’t think Kate would ever consider Meghan – who spent such a very short time in the royal fold – as an appropriate or qualified person to give her advice or support.

“This is a time for Kate to concentrate on regaining her strength, physically and mentally, and I don’t imagine she would welcome tackling the family rift right now.”

However, if the TV star sent “flowers” or something to “cheer her up”, then it would be “politely accepted”.

Fake news over BBC’s ’72-hour warning’

Twitter users are falling for fake posts claiming the BBC is set to receive a big statement from Kensington Palace over Kate Middleton and Prince William over the next ’72 hours’.

Several tweets have claimed: “The BBC has been told to expect a major announcement from the Royal Family in the next 72 hours. There is still no sign of Kate Middleton.”

Many are falling for it, but news organizations, even the BBC don’t receive ‘notice’ of a statement.

The Firm tends to send information and photographs out via news wires. There won’t be a time period given beforehand.

Always check who the person commenting is, and if they really work for an established news organization.
