Princess Kate's 'special Christmas plans to host close family at Anmer Hall'
Meanwhile, Prince William isn't quite ready for Christmas...Princess Kate could host small celebrations this Christmas at Anmer Hall, which could include her parents.
The royal family is said to host one of the biggest Christmas celebrations ever. The grand event focuses on helping King Charles and his daughter-in-law, Kate, put a difficult year behind them following their cancer diagnoses.
The Prince of Wales looks forward to the coming together of more than 40 members of the royal family. They intend to bid farewell to 2024 with hopes for a “brighter year ahead”.
Kate Middleton, who successfully completed treatment for her cancer in September, could reportedly be planning to have her own celebrations in Anmer Hall. The 10-bedroom country house on the Sandringham Estate was the late Queen Elizabeth II’s gift to the couple.

Royal family’s ‘biggest’ Christmas yet
An expert has revealed that 45 members of the royal family will gather at the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk, to celebrate Christmas. This comes after William shared the plans for this year’s festivities at an event in Wiltshire.
The Prince and Princess of Wales look forward to an extravaganza of celebrations during the Christmas period, it seems. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said it isn’t known if the festivities with the extended family are a one-day event or extend into the holiday period.
Am I ready for Christmas? No, no way am I ready.
The royal expert told OK!: “After the year they’ve had, I’m sure it’s going to mean the world to the king and queen to have as many of their family as possible joining them for Christmas. And, as the number of youngsters increases, so the celebrations become more and more child-oriented. Which is exactly what Christmas should be all about.”
Despite the enthusiasm for the holidays, Prince William isn’t prepared yet. He recently admitted during a royal visit: “Am I ready for Christmas? No, no way am I ready.”

Special festive plans for Kate, Princess of Wales
Only a few weeks ago, Kate started making public appearances after completing chemotherapy. She’s attending select events at the moment while focusing on her health. So, throwing a huge Christmas party might be out of the question for the Princess of Wales, according to Jennie.
Jennie revealed that Kate’s parents could stay in Anmer Hall if their daughter plans to host a small crowd.
She explained: “If Catherine’s parents are there, they will certainly stay at Anmer Hall. I’m not sure Catherine would yet feel up to hosting a huge crowd at the Hall, so I imagine it would just be close family. The Yorks would be at Wood Farm.”
Regardless of where the family members stay, this year’s celebrations are to cheer the king, the queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales “into a brighter year ahead”.
Missing the royal event this year, yet again, are Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. The couple hasn’t celebrated Christmas with the royal family in the UK for six years.
They are expected to spend the holiday with their two children Archie and Lilibet in America instead.
