Speaking to The Sunday Times, Sarah said of Camilla: “Queen Camilla was close friends with Mum, which is why we’re so close now. But Diana was my best friend from the age of 14. That’s why it’s so big that the queen and I get on now. It’s rather nice, and she reminds me of Mum.”
The duchess added: “I admire the extraordinary support she’s giving this country. I want to do as much for the queen as possible. I wish they’d ask me to do more.”

Meanwhile, during the chat, Sarah also spoke about ex Andrew.
Andrew has found himself at the centre of controversy in the last few years. He was previously stripped of his military titles and had to step down from royal duties when his alleged association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein came to light.
The Duchess of York married Andrew in 1986 and divorced ten years later. They share two daughters – Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Despite being divorced for decades, Sarah is fond of her ex-husband and promises to never “let him down”.

In an interview with the Times, Sarah opened up about her relationship with her ex-husband.
Reflecting on her wedding day at Westminster Abbey in 1986, she said: “I gave up my anonymity that day. I was able to because love conquers all. It’s still with us today. I won’t let him down. ”
Sarah shares a strong relationship with Andrew and even considers them the “happiest divorced couple in the world”.
“We’re divorced to each other, not from each other. My duty is to him. I am so proud of him. I stand by him and always will. The way we are is our fairytale,” she told the Daily Mail in 2018.

‘Chinese spy’ controversy explained
Prince Andrew has landed in hot water recently owing to his alleged association with a Chinese spy, who is identified as H6.
The unnamed man allegedly established himself as a close confidant of the Duke of York. He even secured invitations to the palace and other royal residences, reports The Independent.
The police at the UK border raised alarms about the alleged man’s identity when he was found with sensitive documents with mention of the royal member.
Last Friday, Andrew said he “ceased all contact” with the Chinese businessman following “advice” from officials.
He also insisted they never discussed anything of a “sensitive nature”.
