Pregnant Princess Beatrice is reportedly having a change of plans for Christmas following medical advice.

Beatrice, 36, is pregnant with her second baby with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 41.

Reports claimed she was planning to spend Christmas abroad with her in-laws instead of with the royals at Sandringham.

However, due to medical advice, Beatrice will now spend the festive period at Sandringham.

Beatrice and Edoardo will head to Norfolk with their daughter Sienna to join the royals. The couple will also embark on the traditional walkabout after a church service on Christmas Day.

However, according to reports, their little girl Sienna, three, won’t join the walkabout. This could be because of her age.

ED! has contacted reps for Buckingham Palace for comment.

Beatrice announced her second pregnancy in October 2024. A statement read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna.

“His Majesty the king has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson and Princess Eugenie to ‘miss’ Sandringham Christmas

Beatrice will reportedly be the only member of the York family at Sandringham this year.

Her younger sister Princess Eugenie, 34, will apparently spend the festive period with her in-laws with husband Jack Brooksbank and their sons – August, three, and Ernest, one.

Meanwhile, their parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson will apparently spend the day at their home Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Actually the plan is for them to all be at Sandringham for a very special big family Christmas.

It comes amid Andrew making headlines over his association with an alleged ‘Chinese spy’.

Reports claimed that Sarah encouraged Andrew to stay away from the spotlight this Christmas.

Other members of the family will join King Charles and Queen Camilla at Sandringham this week.

Elsewhere, amid his cancer treatment, the king reportedly feels “very excited about the family being together for the festive season”.

Meanwhile, Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, recently revealed he’s been invited to spend Christmas with the royals.

However, as well as the Yorks, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will also be absent from the festivities. They’ll spend Christmas in California with their son Archie, five, and daughter Lilibet, three.
