Mike and Zara Tindall's son Lucas branded his mum's 'double' with appearance at the races
Zara and Mike were also joined by their older daughters for the family day outMike and Zara Tindall stepped out with their son Lucas for the Cheltenham races on New Year’s Day.
Lucas, three, put on a playful display as the family enjoyed a fun day out after Christmas.
The little boy looked smart in a white shirt, trousers and white trainers. He also seemed excited at the racecourse as he cheered and pulled faces – something royal fans are used to seeing with Prince William and Kate’s youngest child Prince Louis!

In one photo, Lucas is seen swinging his legs up as he holds onto a metal railing.
In another, he seems to be cheering with his hands rolled into fists.
Look at photos of Zara when she is younger, he is his mum’s double!
Mum Zara, 43, looked elegant in a navy pinstripe suit while Mike, 46, also looked smart in a shirt, tie and long coat.
Royal fans loved seeing little Lucas out with the family, and many thought he was the double of his mum Zara.
One person commented: “He looks very like Princess Anne and Zara when they were little I think!”
Another wrote: “Look at photos of Zara when she is younger, he is his mum’s double!”
Someone else added: “He is his mum’s twin.”
A fourth said: “I think he and Lena look more like their mum whilst Mia looks like their dad.”
However, others thought he was Mike’s “mini-me”! One gushed: “Cutie! Already Dad’s mini-me.”
Mike and Zara have three children – daughters Mia, 10, and Lena, six, and Lucas. Both Mia and Lena were also in attendance at the Cheltenham races.
Mike and Zara Tindall’s Australia trip without their children
In December 2024, Zara and Mike revealed an upcoming overseas trip without their children.
The couple will take part in the Magic Millions carnival after spending Christmas at Sandringham with the royal family.
Zara and Mike have both gushed over Australia and the lifestyle there. Mike appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity in 2022 as he spent three weeks in the Aussie jungle.
Speaking in December, Zara gushed to the Australian Financial review: “We love the lifestyle and the weather obviously is incredible. It’s just very relaxed. We’ve got a lot of friends out there.”
Meanwhile, Mike has previously hinted at a move to the country. He told HELLO! in 2023: “Never say never but it’s not on the cards, people try to say that we almost did, but we never almost did. It’s never been an actual thing where we’ve looked for a house or anything.
“We love Australia a lot and we love the lifestyle, I think it’s brilliant for kids but whether we could actually move there, we’re not sure.”
