In pictures: Prince William and Harry's brotherly moments caught on camera before royal feud erupted
They once shared a very close bondPrince William and Prince Harry once shared a close bond before their reported feud, with some touching brotherly moments being caught on camera.
However, now it’s said the brothers have a strained relationship thanks to Harry’s comments in tell-all interviews and his memoir Spare.
But before their fallout, Harry and William were close and these photos below show just that.
Prince William and Harry’s best brotherly moments before their feud
1. Prince Harry supported by William at his wedding
In 2018, Prince Harry married his wife Meghan Markle at St George’s Chapel in May. William was his best man.
In a sweet moment between the brothers, Harry was seen arriving at the chapel next to William as they enjoyed some chatter and a laugh.
Meanwhile, they waved and smiled to the crowds that had gathered outside awaiting the arrival of the bride.
2. William and Harry viewing tributes left for late mother Princess Diana
In 2017, the brothers came together to view tributes left for their late mother Princess Diana in the White Garden in Kensington Palace.
It was to mark the 20th anniversary of her tragic death. Diana died in August 1997, aged 36, following a car accident in Paris.
William was 15 at the time, while Harry was 12.
3. Prince William and Harry had a competitive nature before their feud erupted
The brothers have become known for their competitive nature. In early 2017, the pair went up against each other in a relay race at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
William’s wife, Kate, also joined them – and it was a rare playful moment between the royals.

4. The brothers take part in DIY SOS project
In 2015, William and Harry channelled their inner Nick Knowles for a royal visit.
They visited the DIY SOS Veterans Build project at the time. Given hats with their names on them, the brothers were all smiles and laughter for the engagement.
5. William and Harry at polo match
The brothers have always been fans of polo. They’ve both taken part in matches over the years.
In 2014, William and Harry were seen laughing at an Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Polo Club.
6. Prince Harry supporting William at 2011 wedding
In April 2011, Harry was Prince William’s best man at his wedding to Kate. William and Kate married at Westminster Abbey on April 29.
In a touching moment, Harry was seen smiling at William on one of the biggest days of his life.
7. William and Harry’s army training
Both William and Harry have embarked on careers in the army.
In 2009, they attended a photo call at the RAF Shawbury as they attended military helicopter training.
They both looked proud of each other in the photo above.
8. William, Kate and Harry’s close bond
As well as having a close relationship with his brother, Prince Harry was also close with his sister-in-law Kate.
The trio were often seen out for royal engagements together and shared some sweet moments.
9. Prince William and Harry meeting Paddington Bear
In 2017, William, Harry and Kate met Paddington Bear as they attended the Charities Forum Event at Paddington Station.
It was a sweet interaction that royal fans couldn’t get enough of.
10. William and Harry with their wives
Before things turned sour, William and Harry often stepped out with their wives for appearances.
In 2018, the family spent Christmas Day at Sandringham and stepped out for the annual public walkabout.

Royal fans rejoiced as William and Kate walked alongside and enjoyed a chit-chat with Harry and Meghan.
