Princess Kate could receive 'something very special' from Charlotte, Louis and George on her 43rd birthday
The children previously hosted a tea party for their mum on her birthdayPrincess Kate is celebrating her 43rd birthday today and her three children may have something up their sleeves to mark the occasion.
The Princess of Wales has three children with her husband Prince William – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
According to a royal expert, the children might want to plan something “very special” for Kate on her big day today (January 9).
It comes after an “incredibly tough” 2024 for the family as Kate underwent treatment for cancer. In September last year, she announced she had completed her treatment and was focusing on staying cancer-free.
George, Charlotte and Louis’ ‘special plan’ for Princess Kate on her birthday
Richard Fitzwilliams told Royal Insider that George, Charlotte and Louis have reportedly arranged a “tea party” for their mum previously.
And they could do something similar this year. Super cute!
They will do something very special to celebrate and rejoice at her recovery.
Predicting how Kate may spend her birthday, Richard told us: “I would expect this to be a quiet day with the family.
“George, Charlotte and Louis reportedly hosted a tea party with William for her four years ago which sounds charming. They will do something very special to celebrate and rejoice at her recovery.”
He continued: “[Her parents] Michael and Carole Middleton have rarely been seen publicly in the last year. They and Kate’s siblings will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in celebrating today, but we won’t be told any details.
“I suspect her children will go to school as normal. She and William could then have some time to themselves. He has described the last year as ‘brutal’ and the worst of his life.”
Richard added: “At Christmas the royals famously give each other cheap gifts.
“However I suspect birthdays are very different, a chance to give your loved one something really special and personal.”
Prince William shares ‘beautiful’ personal message to Kate
On Thursday, the Prince of Wales took the opportunity to praise his wife for her “remarkable” strength.
He wrote on the couple’s official social media pages: “To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable.
“George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W.”

Elsewhere, royal fans have shared their tributes to Kate on her special day. Many reflected on the past year too.
One person gushed on social media: “Happy birthday your Royal Highness! May this year bring you love, happiness and above all good health!!”
Another wrote: “Happy birthday. May this year be kinder to you. In awe of the strength you have demonstrated and the courage you have shown.”
