King Charles giving Prince William ‘more responsibility’
A source has told InTouch that King Charles “is now bestowing more responsibility” on William. Last February, the king announced his cancer diagnosis.
He has been undergoing treatment since.
The word is he’s already on his way to being the toughest ruler the family has ever seen.
And with his father’s health taking priority, Prince William has been stepping in to help with duties it seems.
A source has said that the Prince of Wales is “seizing the opportunity to make decisions that he feels will benefit the Crown in the long run”.

Prince William could be ‘toughest ruler’ the royal family has ‘ever seen’
The insider continued: “It’s no secret that anyone who pushes back against [William] will be swiftly shown the door. He’s not willing to take any nonsense and the word is he’s already on his way to being the toughest ruler the family has ever seen.
“He wants expenses to be monitored closely, and any fat trimmed straight away. He doesn’t want there to be any sense that special perks are being handed out to the royals.
“He’s all about the environment, so he’s pushing hard to be front and center in that respect and has put out this edict that the rest of the family needs to get on board with being as green as possible. Private flights and that sort of thing are being frowned on.”

Speaking to reporters during his visit to South Africa in November, William admitted of the past year: “It’s been dreadful. It’s probably been the hardest year in my life. So, trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult.
“I’m so proud of my wife, I’m proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done. But from a personal family point of view, it’s been brutal.”
