Everything we know about Princess Beatrice's second pregnancy - due date; where she could give birth; preparing Sienna to be big sister
Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's family is getting bigger soonPrincess Beatrice is expecting her second baby – but how is her pregnancy going?
The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson announced her pregnancy in October 2024. She’s already a mum to daughter Sienna, three.
Now Beatrice, 36, and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 41, are preparing to expand their family. Here’s everything we know about Princess Beatrice‘s second pregnancy.

When pregnant Princess Beatrice is due
An exact date isn’t known but in the pregnancy announcement, Buckingham Palace said Princess Beatrice is due “early in the new year”.
It’s also been reported as “early spring”.
The statement from Buckingham Palace read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna.
“His Majesty the king has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

Where Beatrice could give birth
Again, not much information is known on Princess Beatrice’s birth plan for her second child. However, she could choose the same hospital she gave birth to daughter Sienna at.
She welcomed Sienna on September 18, 2021, at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
According to reports, a private birth at the hospital can cost between £6k and £10k. However, it isn’t known if Beatrice gave birth to her daughter in the hospital’s NHS or private facilities.
The hospital is reportedly known for having one of the most luxurious maternity units in the UK. But could she choose it again to welcome her second child?

Princess Beatrice preparing daughter to be a big sister
Speaking to Royal Insider, former royal butler Grant Harrold explained how Beatrice and Edoardo may prepare Sienna to have a sibling.
He said: “Like all parents, there will be a lot of excitement about a new arrival and just getting everyone ready for that. They will be making sure that Sienna knows that she is going to be a big sister and how important her role is going to be.
“She is three so will know what’s going on and they’ll want to make her feel included. And they’ll be getting all the baby supplies ready – like prams, cots and toys – seeing what they need to buy new or what they can use from before or from other family members.”
He added: “And she will definitely be relying on her sister Eugenie and Kate and Zara, as they’ve all had more than one child and will be giving advice if she needs and giving her any clothes or equipment that they may have.
“The royal family support each in times like this. The ladies are all quite close so you can guarantee they will be communicating and giving advice. And she obviously has her mum to help out and lean on as she had two daughters.
“But she has done it before. So she’ll probably be more relaxed with this baby, like a lot of other second time mums.”
