The 65-year-old took to social media this week to pay tribute to a “loyal member” of her household.

Fergie’s charitable trust, Sarah’s Trust, announced that a member of the Duchess of York’s household, Liz, had died late last year.
The Sarah’s Trust Instagram page uploaded a photo of Sarah with Liz.
“We would like to dedicate this post to Liz,” the post caption read.
“Liz was a loyal member of the Duchess of York’s household, and she sadly died of cancer late last year. Liz was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and is sorely missed by all of us who had the good fortune of sharing our lives with her,” it continued.

“In memory of Liz, we have made a donation to St Vincent’s Curran Foundation, which is carrying out world-class research and providing innovative cancer treatment and care,” the statement added.
“Thank you Liz for bringing us so much joy. May you rest in peace.”

Taking to her own Instagram, Sarah shared the post on her story for her 762k followers to see.
“Liz was a truly amazing woman and will be sorely missed by us all,” she wrote. “May she rest in peace.”

Sarah Ferguson ‘heartbroken’ by LA wildfires
In other news recently, Sarah spoke out on the devastating LA wildfires and said she felt heartbroken over the news.
The wildfires have ripped throughout parts of Los Angeles and Southern California this month, with thousands losing their homes. Reports say at least 25 people have died.
In an Instagram video, Sarah shared her thoughts and offered her support to those affected.
“I was thinking about whether my words were going to sound very, very trite if I say anything, but I just have got to say something,” she said in the video.
“My heart is so devastated by the fires in Southern California and Los Angeles. All the people who have been evacuated from their homes, they’ve lost their homes.”
“The animals, the humane society, I am just so devastated. I just had to say something. You know that I am 100% there. I really want to know how we can help. All over the world is just so affected by this extraordinary devastation,” she went on to say.
She also paid tribute to the tireless efforts of emergency responders and volunteers.
Fans of the royal took to the comment section to thank her for her kind words.

Another called Sarah a “beautiful” soul and praised her “kindness and compassion”.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan have helped those affected by the fires. They have reportedly opened their home to loved ones who have needed to evacuate their homes. They have also donated clothing, children’s items, and other essential supplies to those in need.
