Why Meghan Markle's new Netflix show could be on the chopping block before it even airs
It comes after the show was delayed for two months due to the LA wildfiresAs Meghan Markle sets a new date for her Netflix show, it seems experts are speculating that it may not actually reach its release date without getting axed.
It was announced that Meghan, 43, would delay the release of her Netflix show amidst the LA wildfires. But it seems the two-month delay has some worried it may never reach our screens.
And while Meghan explained it was due to the fires, others wondered if she already knows about a cancellation.
With Love, Meghan is described as a joyous, lifestyle show. Meghan collaborates with many friends and familiar faces in the kitchen. And there was even potential of seeing Prince Harry, and their rarely-seen children.

Premiere date for Meghan Markle’s Netflix show delayed
But royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Mail that the show may face difficulties as it’s not what fans expected.
He said: “How many, I wonder, will watch all eight episodes? It may be aimed at stay at home mums, but will they stay with it?”
As for his reasoning for thinking this, Richard had a few. And they all indicated that Meghan’s Netflix show isn’t at the standard it should have been.
Richard continued: “It is so badly scripted. The gushing poses and the garish colours are more reminiscent of a kindergarten. California is currently being ravaged by cataclysmic wildfires which have forced Netflix to postpone the launch of the series. You do wonder if With Love, Meghan is worth saving and launch in the future months. It might well not be.”
Richard believes that should the show be cancelled, then it would be giving Harry and Meghan “their desserts for their vindictive campaign against the royal family”.
Despite this, Richard does accept their fans will “love” the new show. But mainstream appeal is “highly questionable” based on the trailer alone.
The couple stepped down from official royal duties five years ago, in 2020. It was then that the pair made the decision to move to California.
What followed was a series of tell-all interviews, books and a Netflix docu-series about their love story and their time in the royal family.
For this reason, and for many more, Richard is a firm believer that none of the royal family members will be watching the show.

Meghan and Harry’s ‘lack of talent is painfully obvious’
Richard theorises that if it gets to air then a “courtier would have watched it and reported”. But he feels positive that given both Princess Kate and King Charles have had their respective cancer battles recently, then Meghan would not “be foolish enough to launch another attack”.
He explained: “The Sussexes are famous for nothing else. But their lack of talent is painfully obvious, and With Love, Meghan looks out of touch with the real world.”
Delaying her Netflix show isn’t the only thing the duchess has done to support the LA wildfires. She and Harry, 40, both volunteered last week, giving supplies to those who need it. However, that trip was criticised by many accusing them of wanting a “photo op”.
But Meghan continued her effort to help and she has since been praised for giving supplies to a teen charity. Many supported her decision to step out and help, using her platform to raise awareness.
With Love, Meghan is now scheduled to release all eight episodes on March 4. But will it be cancelled before that?
