Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been left “distressed” over new allegations made against them.

The allegations – which were made in a new article – include instances of reported ‘bullying’, claims of a post-divorce book, and that they are “entitled” neighbours.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegations

Over the weekend, Vanity Fair published a lengthy article about the Sussexes, examining their post-working-royal lives.

The article makes several contentious claims about the couple’s business plans, marriage, and community relations.

According to the publication, Prince Harry and Meghan’s neighbours in Montecito claim the royal couple has disrupted the area’s tranquility by “bringing more attention” to it.

This is despite it being home to several celebrities, including Hollywood star Sharon Stone.

Meanwhile, one Montecito resident allegedly described the couple as “the most entitled, disingenuous people on the planet”.

The magazine also speculates on the couple’s marriage. It claims that a “post-divorce” book has been mentioned, yet insisted that divorce isn’t “imminent”. This is because the couple’s “love is real” and they are still “hot for each other”.

Vanity Fair article on Harry and Meghan

The piece also examined some of the business problems the couple has faced since emigrating to the US.

In one part of the article, a Spotify employee criticises the couple’s approach to podcasting.

Harry and Meghan signed a multi-million dollar deal with Spotify in 2020 to make a series of podcasts for the streamer. However, after just 12 episodes of Meghan’s podcast, Archetypes, the deal came to an end in 2023.

“They didn’t do what celebrities do on podcasts, which is turn on the mic and talk. They wanted a big theme that would explain the world, but they had no ideas,” the Spotify employee alleged to Vanity Fair.

Meghan Markle faces staff allegations

Allegations are also levelled against Meghan’s behaviour in the article.

This isn’t the first time that Meghan has been accused of ‘bullying’. The Duchess of Sussex has previously been accused of leaving palace staff “in tears” due to her treatment of them.

And when you are not in, you are to be thrown to the wolves at any given moment.

Now, Vanity Fair has brought the allegations to the fore again, claiming staff who worked on Meghan’s Archetypes podcast said it was “very awful”.

The source added: “Because she’s constantly playing checkers, I’m not even going to say chess, she’s just very aware of where everybody is on her board.

“And when you are not in, you are to be thrown to the wolves at any given moment.”

The article also claims that some employees of her podcast, Archetype, were forced to take leaves of absence due to her alleged behaviour towards them.

The article also claims that Harry wasn’t aware of this as she never raised her voice when talking to staff.

Harry and Meghan have reportedly been left “distressed” by the article.

Sharon Stone on what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are like as neighbours

Despite claims that Montecito residents aren’t happy with the Sussexes, Sharon Stone proved otherwise back in 2020.

During a chat with Access Hollywood at the time, Sharon – who lived in the Sussexes’ neighbourhood – gushed over the royal couple.

When asked what they’re like as neighbours, she said: “You know, the thing about them that is so great is they didn’t come here to live off of our community, they came here to be a part of our community.

“My friend said she was sitting in her car and they bicycled across the street and waved at her while she was sitting at the red light.”

“They’re a part of our community, they’ve become a giving, caring, participating part of our communityThey’re not here to be like ‘Would you like to kiss my butt?'” she added.
