The princess has always preferred a healthy lifestyle it seemsAs Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales’ health remains her priority after her cancer battle, what exactly does her diet include?
Kate, over the years, has been known for being a passionate chef, cooking healthy meals for her family. But with Kate now being in remission after her cancer battle, the princess will likely be keeping her focus on staying fit and healthy.
Of course, it’s not known for certain what Kate eats every day or in fact what the royal family eats. However, there’s been many reports over the years about what her diet includes and Kate has even spoken about meals herself. Let’s take a look.

What Princess Kate has for breakfast
It seems Kate and her sister-in-law Meghan Markle actually do have something in common – when it comes to brekkie. Apparently, they both enjoy fresh smoothies in the morning.
According to the MailOnline, Kate blends a combination of kale, spirulina, matcha, spinach, romaine, coriander leaves and blueberries for her favourite healthy morning drink.
It’s reported that alongside her tasty smoothie, Kate also enjoys a hearty bowl of oatmeal.

What Princess Kate eats for lunch
While she may not be a vegetarian, it seems meat-free lunches are her preference according to reports.
Chef Raghu Deora, who created dishes for Kate and Prince William during a previous royal tour of India, revealed what he served the pair.
He explained it was vegetable kebabs and lentil curry. Chef Raghu said: “It’s all vegetarian because I was told that was what they preferred.”
In the evenings she indulges her hobby of cooking William’s favourite supper, roast chicken.
Another thing the royal sometimes enjoys for lunch is sushi. This was confirmed during William’s chat with Japanese chef Akira Shimizu.
William told Akira in 2018: “Thank you very much. My wife and I love sushi. We might have to come down here for lunch when no one else is in.”
And according to multiple reports, other lunch favourites of Kate’s are watermelon salads, tabbouleh, ceviche and gazpacho.

Princess Kate cooks William and children ‘roast chicken’
It seems for dinner, Kate is very similar to everyone else. It’s believed she enjoys her roasts, pasta and curries. And when she was seven months pregnant with son Prince George, now 11, Kate enjoyed a homemade vegetable dish.
During previous outings, Kate has admitted she is a fan of spicy foods – something she and William differ on, as she has confirmed he “struggles” with them.
While on a royal visit before the couple’s Pakistan tour, Kate revealed if her kids take after her or William.
She explained that while she really enjoys the spiciness, she has to tone it down when making curry for the kids. But she added that Princess Charlotte, nine, “is pretty good with heat”.
Another huge success meal in Kate’s life is roast chicken. In 2012, royal correspondent Katie Nicholl told Vanity Fair: “In the evenings she indulges her hobby of cooking William’s favourite supper, roast chicken.”
Lastly for dinner, Kate sometimes chooses to have pasta. During a visit to the Lavender Primary School, visitors recalled: “She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day. And they make salads.”

Kate Middleton enjoys ‘anti-aging’ snack
The princess is also a fan of some different snacks, it seems. It’s believed she favours healthy snacks like raw fruits.
According to reports, Kate is a fan of goji berries – often called a superfood which contains antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and amino acids.
And, according to Chinese medicine, goji berries may have anti-aging properties. However, this isn’t a fact.
Who is Kate, Princess of Wales?
While visiting children at a hospital in 2018, Kate revealed: “I used to eat lots and lots of olives when I was little as well.” She also told another child that she loves papaya.
However, not everything she eats has to be healthy. Just like anyone else Kate sometimes enjoys a sweet treat, and her and William previously tucking into popcorn during a basketball game in New York is proof of that.
Princess of Wales’ favourite dessert is sticky toffee pudding
It seems Kate’s dessert of choice comes from the Old Boot Inn in Stanford Dingley in Berkshire – and it’s a classic favourite.
Chef Rody Warot spoke to PEOPLE in 2011 and revealed: “Kate is always discreet and has always complimented the dishes with great kindness. For dessert, her favourite is sticky toffee pudding.”
