He first visited Cycle of Life, a non-profit cycling organisation.

Prince William, 42, learnt about the OnTheGo project. It helps young people start businesses with cargo bikes. They also gain skills in finance, business and cycling.

This one will be a good one for Louis, he needs a good challenge.

The prince later enjoyed a playful game of football with some young people at a youth hub.

During the visits yesterday, the Prince of Wales shared some cute details on his children.

As he tested out some bikes, he revealed what his kids like to do on theirs.

William said: “My children quite like pulling just the back brake and sliding along. Usually the back wheel will come past you. There is a technique.”

Elsewhere on Thursday, the prince visited some young children at Princes Primary School and English Martyrs Catholic Primary School.

During this visit, William was given three envelopes by the kids. They explained it was for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

In each of the envelopes was a £10 note. It also contained a “smile challenge”. The aim is to use the money to make someone smile without handing them the note.

William said: “This one will be a good one for Louis, he needs a good challenge. That’s very kind of you, thank you very much.”

According to a source, Kate is now adapting to a “new normal” with her family after the health ordeal. They added to PEOPLE: “She has drawn a line under the last year, and she can move forward. The word ‘remission’ is such a positive one to use, and it just feels a veil has been lifted on their life of the last year, and that they can move forward with positivity and hope.

“It has been a tough journey — harder than we perhaps thought. She has been through a lot, and it has been a rough road. Serious illness like cancer does change you.”
