The 'sting' facial that Queen Camilla is a fan of as her beautician explains treatment
Don't worry, it doesn't involve bees!Queen Camilla is said to be a fan of a “sting” facial, her beautician of 18 years has revealed this week.
The queen consort, 77, undergoes the treatment which is said to help “lines disappear” and gives the skin a “fresh” appearance.
Deborah Mitchell, who has worked with Queen Camilla for almost two decades and has treated many celebrities, spoke about the treatment on ITV’s Lorraine this week.
As the queen’s secrets are revealed, we’re also looking into how other members of the royal family keep their skin looking flawless.

Queen Camilla has ‘sting’ facial
Deborah explained how she first became Queen Camilla’s beautician 18 years ago. She said: “Clarence House phoned and I thought it was Clarins, the skincare company.
“Then I toddled off and 18 years later, I’m still here. Now I have a royal warrant.”
A royal warrant is “granted as a mark of recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household,” according to the royal family’s website.
What it does is it’s applied to the skin and it makes the skin think it’s been stung.
Deborah explained that because she has the warrant, she can talk about Camilla being a client.
Explaining the facial treatment, Deborah said: “This is a nettle venom treatment. What it does is it’s applied to the skin and it makes the skin think it’s been stung. So basically all the toxins soften all the muscles, like injectables, but they soften it so lines disappear and the skin looks really fresh.”
Deborah explained the hour-long treatment is good for people of all ages and skin types, and can help those with acne and eczema.

Meanwhile, Deborah recently spoke about her skincare brand – Heaven Skincare.
She said she regularly pops to different palaces to do treatments on Camilla. However, she didn’t say if she also treats Kate, Princess of Wales.
But she did reveal that Camilla gave her creams as Christmas gifts to the family last month.
Deborah told The Sun: “A lot of them do use the products, and the queen gave lots of Christmas presents with my products this year.”
So how do other members of the royal family look after their skin?

Princess of Wales’ skin secrets
Of course, we don’t know for a fact what the royals use on their skin. But it’s speculated that their good diets are key to giving them glowing complexions.
The Princess of Wales is said to be a fan of goji berries – often called a superfood which contains antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and amino acids.
And, according to Chinese medicine, goji berries may have anti-aging properties. However, this isn’t a fact.
According to reports, Kate is also said to be a fan of rosehip oil for her skin. US Weekly previously reported that Kate was a fan of Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil, costing around £20.
A source told the publication: “Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regiment. She loves the effect is has on her skin. [Her mother] Carole is also a fan.”

Meghan Markle used ‘facial exercises to sculpt face’
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has previously opened up about her own skincare secrets.
Before marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan spoke to Beauty Banter about her beauty secrets. She revealed she used Nivea’s Q10 Firming Body Lotion “religiously” on her body.
Meanwhile, Meghan once explained that she used “facial exercises” to sculpt her face. She told Birchbox in 2014: “I do facial exercises from one of my favorite aestheticians, Nicola Joss, who basically has you sculpt your face from the inside out.

“I swear it works, as silly as you may feel. On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are way more sculpted. There’s a reason she is in high demand around awards season when every actress wants to look A-plus.”
Also in 2014, then actress Meghan told Allure that she was a fan of Tatcha’s The Rice Polish – which is an exfoliating enzyme powder.
