Beatrice has welcomed her second daughter, baby AthenaSarah Ferguson has broken her silence after daughter Princess Beatrice gave birth to her second baby.
Beatrice, 36, welcomed her second daughter with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on January 22. The couple have named their little girl Athena Elizabeth Rose.
Athena is their second daughter. They’re parents to Sienna, who was born in September 2021.
Now, proud granny Sarah, 65, has shared a touching message on her Instagram.

Sharing a photo of little Athena in a white baby grow with her tiny hand covering her face, the Duchess of York wrote: “Overflowing with love and joy to be able to welcome Athena Elizabeth Rose into the world.
“She is already so adored and I’m incredibly blessed to be a Granny once again. So proud of Edo, Beatrice and the rest of my little 5-a-side team!”
Sarah’s followers congratulated her on becoming a granny again and gushed over the tot and her sweet name.
One person said: “Congratulations to all. What a cutie little girl.”
Another wrote: “What an absolutely beautiful little girl and such an adorable name.”

Earlier today (January 29), Edoardo shared the same picture of Athena and wrote a sweet caption.
He said: “Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.
Overflowing with love and joy to be able to welcome Athena Elizabeth Rose into the world.
“We welcomed baby Athena into our lives last week. She is tiny and absolutely perfect. We are all (including Wolfie and Sienna) already completely besotted with her. Our hearts are overflowing with love for you, baby Athena.”
The proud dad added: “A massive thank you from my wife and I goes out to all the wonderful staff at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for their exceptional care and support during this incredibly special time.”

Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, born on Wednesday, 22nd January, at 12:57pm.
“The baby was born weighing 4 pounds and 5 ounces. The king and queen, and other members of the royal family have all been informed and are delighted with the news.
“Princess Beatrice and Mr Mapelli Mozzi would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care.”
It added: “Her Royal Highness and her daughter are healthy and doing well, and the family are enjoying spending time together with Athena’s older siblings, Wolfie and Sienna.”
Baby Athena is 11th in line to the throne.
