In a new post on Instagram, Kate shared an adorable snap taken by her youngest son Louis, six.

Kate underwent treatment for cancer last year. Last month (January 2025), Kate announced that her cancer is now in remission.

In the new picture on Instagram, Kate seems to be enjoying a walk in the woods. The princess can be seen at the top of a pile of tree trunks with her arms outstretched.

A second snap is a close-up of some leaves, with a note from Kate on it.

“Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease. C,” it reads.

Kate used the same quote as the caption of the snap. She also gave photo credit to Louis. At the bottom of the caption, Kate wrote: “#worldcancerday.”

Kate, of course, is a keen photographer and regularly uploads her pictures to the Waleses’ official Instagram.

I can’t believe that this photo was taken by Louis, that’s so sweet.

“Awww Prince Louis that is an amazing photo,” another said.

Royal family predictions for February 2025

Elsewhere the princess is in for a good month, according to celebrity psychic and astrologer, Inbaal Honigman.

Sharing her predictions with Jeff Bet, she said: “The Tower Tarot card speaks of leaving things behind – it’s often seen as a scary card of unexpected changes, but when this card appears following a period of worry, it’s a joy to behold.

“This is the month that sees Catherine receive good news which allows her to move forward.”

She then predicted that Prince William could have a trip down memory line with his family this month.

Who is Kate, Princess of Wales?

Kate, Princess of Wales, is married to the current heir to the throne Prince William - King Charles III's eldest son.

Kate was born on January 9, 1982, making her 43 years old. She was born to Michael and Carole Middleton in Berkshire.

Kate married into the royal family in April 2011.

What did Kate, Princess of Wales do before marrying Prince William?

Before their 2011 wedding, Kate and William had dated for many years after meeting at St Andrews University in Scotland.

After graduating, Kate worked in retail and for her family's business, Party Pieces.

Tying the knot with Prince William

On April 29, 2011, William and Kate married at Westminster Abbey. It was branded the "wedding of the century" with millions watching the nuptials worldwide.

Kate then became a respected and favourite member within the monarchy as she began performing duties alongside her husband.

The couple have three children - Prince George, born in July 2013, Princess Charlotte, born in May 2015, and Prince Louis, who they welcomed in April 2018.

The family currently live at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor Home Park just east of Windsor Castle. Their eldest, son George, is currently second in line to the throne behind his grandfather King Charles and dad Prince William.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, William and Kate became the Prince and Princess of Wales - a title previously held by William's late mother Princess Diana.

When William becomes monarch one day, Kate will become Queen Consort.

Kate's cancer diagnosis

Kate faced one of her most challenging years in 2024 after her cancer diagnosis. She announced the news publicly in March of that year. She underwent treatment and announced the end of that in September 2024.

Then, in January 2025, the Princess of Wales announced she was in remission with her cancer and would slowly return to her royal duties.

“The 6 of Cups Tarot card is an interesting one, as it tells of some time off and a few days of relaxation in William’s schedule, but this isn’t just a holiday to the seaside,” she said.

“There’s a trip down memory lane as he takes his family to a destination that is close to his heart. His time spent away is a joy, but there are poignant moments for the prince as he remembers spending time with loved ones who are no longer around.”
