Prince Harry handed ‘inappropriate’ gift at Invictus Games
Yesterday (Sunday, February 9) saw the Duke and Duchess of Sussex meet with the family and friends of the competitors.
It was during this meeting that the prince was gifted a pair of budgie smugglers by Team Australia. Meghan, 43, documented the funny moment on her Instagram.
Spotting the gift, a laughing Harry declared: “So inappropriate! I love it!”
He then got up to receive the gift. “You don’t have to model them right now,” one family member quipped.
So inappropriate! I love it!
A child then suggested that Harry should “put them on your head”.
Smirking, Harry joked: “Who would do that?”
This isn’t the first time that the duke has been gifted budgie smugglers by Team Australia. It’s a tradition that dates back to 2018 when he was handed the “inappropriate” gift for the first time at the Invictus Games in Sydney.
It has continued ever since!

Prince Harry and Meghan tease ‘very important’ news at Invictus Games
Elsewhere at the Invictus Games, Meghan teased that she and Harry had some “very important” news on the way.
The duchess had spent the weekend documenting the royal couple’s time at the games on her Instagram.
In one video on her story, the duchess uploaded a video of herself and Harry walking somewhere.
“Walking into a very important meeting [winky face emoji],” she captioned the video.
However, she has yet to reveal what the meeting was about. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Harry and Meghan’s loved-up display at opening ceremony
On Saturday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in attendance at the opening ceremony.
During the ceremony, the royal couple certainly looked loved-up. They were seen holding hands, kissing, and Meghan was also spotted cuddling up to her husband’s arm.
Body language expert Judi James, speaking to the MailOnline, described their behaviour as that of “newlyweds,” despite them having been married for almost seven years now.
“During her intro speech welcoming her husband on stage, Meghan delivered in a similarly breathless, excitable, ‘spontaneous’ style as she did in her recent Insta post about the Billie Eilish merchandise,” she said.
She then continued, saying: “Her introduction of Harry involved the kind of coyness signals you’d normally see from a newlywed, implying deliberately to the audience that she was still embarrassed by her depth of feeling for him.”
