Prince Harry's 'awkward' reaction to Meghan Markle kiss: 'He is not reciprocating the gesture of love'
The couple have been attending events for the Invictus Games the past few daysPrince Harry and Meghan Markle put on a loved-up display at the Invictus Games across the past few days.
However, according to a body language expert, their public kiss appeared “awkward” – but there’s a reason why.
During the Invictus Games’ opening ceremony at the weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a kiss in the stadium as Harry, 40, left his wife’s side to deliver a speech.

In the moment, Meghan was seen reaching up and cupping Harry’s face as they shared a kiss. Harry then left to take to the stage.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino for Royal Insider, expert Darren Stanton said of the couple’s PDA during the ceremony: “She has her hand on his cheek and her body is turned right in.
He is not reciprocating the gestures of love with his hands.
“When you are in the secondary position [as Harry is, in the PDA] and are head over heels in love, you will usually reciprocate.
“He is turned in at an awkward angle and he is not reciprocating the gestures of love with his hands. There is a lot that could be read into this but it is likely due to the awkward nature of trying to go in for a kiss in stadium seating.”

Despite this, Darren said it’s clear the royal couple are “both in love”.
He continued: “They are showing very genuine emotion and are not afraid to show public displays of affection. It was a very passionate kiss from Meghan and she doesn’t appear to be concerned about the fact that they are being papped or that there are people around them.
“They are still in their own little bubble and very much on the same page.”
Darren also insisted Meghan, 43, and Harry look “genuinely happy with each other”. He added: “The instances of PDA in the press could appear to be somewhat awkward, but it’s likely because they know this will be heavily examined and photographed.”

Meghan told Harry ‘you’re amazing’ before kiss
It comes after a lip reader appeared to reveal the words the couple exchanged before the kiss.
Jeremy Freeman, an Expert Witness Forensic Lip Reader certified by the Deafness Cognition and Language Research Centre at University College London, shared his findings with the MailOnline.
Just before Harry headed down to give a speech, he told Meghan: “Ok… I’ll be back later.”
Grabbing Harry’s face affectionately, Meghan replied: “You’re amazing!”
