It seems King Charles has developed ‘no relationship’ with his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet as the royal family’s feud continues.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family to move to California, their son Archie wasn’t even one year old. Then, while living in the US, the couple welcomed their second child, Lilibet.

It’s been heavily speculated that the other members of the royal family haven’t seen much of the children. Now, sources claim that King Charles, 76, actually has no relationship at all with them.

King Charles has ‘no relationship’ with grandchildren

Harry and Meghan’s children have not visited the UK since 2022. And it’s believed that is the only time King Charles met his granddaughter.

There are also no current plans for that to change anytime soon, especially as Harry got the confirmation that he wouldn’t be deported.

President Donald Trump declared Prince Harry could stay in America, despite the ongoing case surrounding his immigration records.

And it seems this decision pleases Harry’s father, King Charles, who is fine with Harry remaining in America.

An insider told the MailOnline: “The fact is that Harry and Meghan are a source of strain and worry for His Majesty.

“While he is sorry that he does not have a relationship with his grandchildren in America, it is easier for his peace of mind that there is an ocean between him and Harry.”

And it is believed that this is the same for Harry’s brother, Prince William, who also has no relationship with his niece and nephew.

The feud between the family has been growing for five years, and doesn’t appear to be stopping any time soon.

Since Harry and Meghan moved to California in 2020, the couple have done numerous TV interviews, Netflix deals, and books. And every time, it seems to push them further away from the royal family.

While Charles doesn’t appear to have a relationship with Harry’s children, he does have one with William’s kids.

As the young royals begin attending more and more royal events, it is evident that their relationship with their grandfather would be growing. Something which is unlikely to ever happen for Archie and Lilibet.

Meghan and Harry have kept Archie and Lilibet away from the spotlight

And because of the split in the family, both William and Harry’s kids will not grow up as close cousins. Despite Harry and William’s close upbringing, it seems their reported rift now isn’t just affecting their lives but also the lives of the younger royals.

Meghan and Harry have tried to keep their children out of the spotlight as much as possible, only giving a glimpse into their lives whenever they want to.

The fact is that Harry and Meghan are a source of strain and worry for His Majesty.

And lately, the couple has been more open when discussing their children in public. Yesterday (February 12), Meghan gave an insight to their home life when she posted an Instagram story of snacks and tops, as they cheer on the Invictus Games.

Along with this, Prince Harry actually opened up on what it’s like having conversations with his kids, explaining what the games represent.

Speaking to People, he revealed: “They are fascinated. It’s a very interesting conversation to have with your kids. To explain why someone is missing a leg, why someone is missing an arm. It’s challenging, but it is important.”
