Valentine’s Day is here and love is in the air for Prince William and wife Princess Kate as they marked the occasion on social media.

The Prince and Princess of Wales joined many couples expressing love for each other on February 14.

The couple, who married in 2011, shared a new photo on their joint Instagram account to celebrate the day of love.

Prince William and Kate celebrate Valentine’s Day with beautiful photo

The sweet pic, which you can see here, shows William, 42, leaning and kissing Kate on the cheek as she smiles. They’re seen sitting on a grass hill with their hands intertwined.

How adorable!

Ooooh… such a cute moment! Happy Valentine’s Day!

The picture seems to have been taken during the same day Kate, 43, and William captured a family video as she announced the end of her cancer treatment.

Last September, Kate shared a personal message announcing the news alongside a beautiful video of her, William and their three children enjoying their summer break.

Today’s post was captioned simply with a red heart.

Royal fans appeared thrilled over the photo of William and Kate, as one person commented: “Happy Valentine’s Day to my favourite royal couple!!”

Another wrote: “Aww, this is too cute! Happy Valentine’s Day.”

Meanwhile, someone else added: “Ooooh… such a cute moment! Happy Valentine’s Day!”

2024 was a tough year for the prince and princess following Kate’s cancer diagnosis. She shared her diagnosis publicly in March 2024 and announced the end of her treatment in September.

Then in January this year, Kate revealed the joyful news that she’s in remission.

A royal expert said the royal couple are now able to “express themselves in a way they would never have done before”.

Biographer Ingrid Seward added to PEOPLE: “William must feel so fortunate that Kate has come through this that he wants to tell the world about that love. It shows the intimacy of them sharing that journey together.”

William and Kate’s wedding day

Prince William and Kate tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in April 2011. The Prince of Wales had proposed to Kate during a trip in Kenya in 2010 after first meeting each other at university in 2001.

They have since welcomed three children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
