She’s a very generous woman who knew I needed a break.

“She’s a phenomenon,” Abigail told E! News last year. “She’s the most wonderful. One of my dearest friends. Her loveliness obviously shines, and then it spilled out onto everything.”

Abigail features in the trailer for With Love, Meghan as the duchess whips her up a treat in the kitchen.

When the trailer was released, Abigail wrote on Instagram: “Thanks for having me over and being truly the most wonderful friend a gal could get. Joy and bubbles abound. Here to learn. I’ll get the salt.”

Actress and writer Mindy Kaling adds her humour and charm to With Love, Meghan in a scene where Meghan serves her a slice of Victoria Sponge cake.

Mindy called the moment “one of the most glamorous moments of my life”. Speaking to TIME recently, Mindy revealed: “I was on maternity leave with my daughter in March and April, and Meghan texted me that she was doing a show where she was going to cook for her friends. Would I want to come to Montecito and have her cook for me? I wanted to get taken care of in that moment of my life. That was a fun maternity leave field trip.”

The star added: “And I left with a basket of fresh produce and homemade jam and hot sauce because she knew I loved hot sauce. She’s a very generous woman who knew I needed a break.”
