Prince William and ‘first girlfriend’ Davina Duckworth-Chad

Davina was a family friend of the royals. Prince William and her were rumoured to have dated in the 1990s, before heading to university.

The Daily Mail even reported that Davina joined William, King Charles and Queen Camilla on a cruise in the Aegean Sea the same year.

Not just a family friend, Davina is also a very distant cousin of the prince through his late mother, Princess Diana.

The pair’s breakup must have been mutual and friendly, as Davina was spotted at Kate and William’s royal wedding. And she, herself has been married since 2004.

Jecca Craig

It was claimed that William dated Jecca Craig when they were both teenagers. Reports had claimed that they were so close that he spent time on her family’s estate in Kenya during his gap year.

With rumours circulating about their relationship at the time, Jecca was said to be William’s first love. It was said that Jecca travelled to the UK to attend William’s 21st birthday party. And Kate was also there.

However, the Daily Mail reported in 2003 that William and Jecca had never dated and the rumours were shut down in a statement from St James’s Palace. It insisted the pair were just good friends.

‘Passionate romance’ with Arabella Musgrave

And it seems just before William met Kate at university, he was with Arabella.

Nicholl described Arabella as being part of the “Glosse Posse,” a nickname for Harry and William’s inner circle of friends.

In the book, Nicholl said the pair had a “passionate romance”. However, it fizzled out when William began university.

A source said at the time: “William was madly in love with her but when he knew there was no chance of them getting together he went back to Kate.

“Kate was very aware of his obsession with Isabella and she was incredibly threatened by her. Isabella is drop-dead beautiful and would leave any girl in the shade.”

Did Prince William have a girlfriend called Lola Airdale-Cavendish-Kincaid?

In the final season of Netflix drama series The Crown, Prince William arrives at St Andrews and begins seeing a student named Lola Airdale-Cavendish-Kincaid – even when he has feelings for Kate.

But in reality, none of that happened. And Lola is actually completely fictional, she was not Prince William’s ex.
