Prince William and Princess Kate 'putting on united front' with 'intimate' behaviour during Wales trip
The couple visited Wales on WednesdayPrince William and Kate stunned fans when they appeared more affectionate than usual during their Wales trip.
It seems this was their way of moving forward after Kate’s recent cancer journey.
Images and videos circulated of the Prince and Princess of Wales holding hands, and looking loved-up – something they would usually stay away from due to protocol. But that didn’t seem to matter on their trip to Wales this week.
In an Instagram video shared to their joint account, William and Kate walked through a train station hand in hand.
Fans gushed seeing William and Kate look so happy together, after the terrible 2024 they have faced. Ax expert has said it seems this was to show a “united front”.

Prince William and Kate’s ‘united front’ in Wales
Speaking on behalf of Genting Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton revealed Prince William and Kate’s “intimate” behaviour was down to “complete ease”.
He explained: “Kate and William were at complete ease together. It’s clear they felt they were almost off duty. So they could really enjoy themselves and fully relax in each other’s company.”
Darren noted that the “fun and mischievous” side came out “quite naturally” during the trip, noting how “relaxed” their bodies were around each other.
He continued: “It was a laidback setting, which is quite different from the situations we normally see them participate in.
“The joint appearance proves how open and honest they are with the public, without any signs of hesitation or nervousness.”

Not only were they at ease, but they were also showing everyone that they are a team – especially as reports suggest that William really struggled with Kate’s cancer diagnosis behind the scenes.
Darren continued: “Kate seemed to be in very high spirits. Throughout the footage, they seemed to be quite close. We saw them being tactile with one another – which tells us they are in a good place as a couple.
It’s shown how strong they are as a couple, by putting on a united front.
“We saw they displayed genuine smiles every now and then. They shared intimate moments of glancing at each other, while helping behind the counter.”
Darren believes this “suggests Kate and William are demonstrating true feelings of passion and love for each other”.
While it’s not in royal protocol to show that much affection, the couple clearly weren’t too worried.
Darren concluded: “It’s shown how strong they are as a couple, by putting on a united front.”

Prince William was at his ‘lowest’ over Kate’s cancer diagnosis
Earlier this week, Jason Knauf, the former chief executive of William and Kate’s Royal Foundation and a close friend to them, spoke out about the impact of Kate’s diagnosis.
Speaking with 60 minutes Australia, Jason revealed the phone call he had with William when he found out.
He said: “It was awful, absolutely awful. It was the lowest I have ever seen him.
“The problem was that all this crazy conspiracy theory stuff kicked off in the background online. But they didn’t want to say yet that she had cancer because they hadn’t told the children. They were still working through how to tell their children.”
He also admitted that the couple decided to make sure they had “time to be parents first” when they were arranging their royal duties.
