Prince Harry made a brief cameo in his wife Meghan Markle’s new cooking show on Netflix – With Love, Meghan.

Meghan’s new series landed on the streaming giant with eight episodes. It sees the Duchess of Sussex, 43, share her tips and tricks on all things cooking, crafting, hosting and gardening with her famous friends.

In the last few minutes of the final episode, her husband Prince Harry, 40, made a brief appearance. Now, an expert has suggested why the Duke of Sussex didn’t feature heavily in Meghan’s project.

Sweet moment between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Netflix cooking show

Harry didn’t feature in person in the series apart from the last episode. At the end of the series, Meghan hosted a party outside with her husband and some of their friends.

Her mum, Doria Ragland, also attended. During a sweet moment, Harry cuddled Meghan and said: “Well done. You did a great job. I love it.”

Having Harry in there just for the odd cameo gives it gravitas while showing he is still supporting her.

Meghan then raised a glass and made a toast to her friends who have supported her.

Harry raised his glass and told his wife: “To you!”

The duke’s brief appearance has now been analysed by a body language expert, who revealed that he was just there to show his support.

Why Prince Harry had only a small cameo in With Love, Meghan

Speaking to Royal Insider on behalf of JeffBet, expert Darren Stanton said: “This show is basically her way of really having her own identity back, it’s always been Meghan and Harry, where he’s had his own projects and she’s supported him.

“It’s her way of carving back her own identity, having Harry in there just for the odd cameo gives it gravitas while showing he is still supporting her.

“Principally, this is her attempt to separate from the brand and have her own space. This is really empowering Meghan.

“This comes out in a non-verbal point of view, we see her appearing very happy and genuine, she’s grounded and humble, she’s visibly excited to be doing this project.”

What Prince Harry thinks about living in US with Meghan Markle and children

It seems British-born Harry is embracing life across the pond.

Speaking to Us Weekly, former New Zealand rugby star Richie McCaw recalled chatting with Harry at the Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada. When asked how things were going, Harry kept it simple apparently.

"I said, 'How things go?' And he goes, 'Life’s going on pretty good,'" Richie shared.

Richie said that one particular comment from Harry stood out.

"He was like, 'Yeah, I can drop the kids off at school… without any issue.' And hey, we all take that for granted, don’t we?"

Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family."

She also revealed she loves cooking breakfast for her family: "I love making breakfast for my family. My husband and Archie both love fried eggs. There’s a lot of bacon around here."

“But Meghan is hugging Harry, and he is more the dominant person in that moment, when she nuzzles her head into him. Harry is smiling and the pair are very tactile, clearly very much in love and Harry is showing his clear support of his wife’s project.”
