With Love, Meghan: Every glimpse Meghan Markle has shared into her family life in Netflix show
With Love, Meghan premiered earlier today
Meghan Markle has opened the doors to her family life in Montecito in her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
While the series focuses on lifestyle, cooking and hosting, Meghan, 43, shares little insights into their morning routines, sweet traditions and family quirks – giving fans a rare look at how the Sussexes live behind closed doors.
Here’s every heartwarming detail Meghan has shared about her home life with Prince Harry, Archie, and Lili.

Meghan Markle reveals her morning routine on With Love, Meghan
Like many parents, Meghan described mornings in their house as hectic.
“I wake up every morning and take a lot of pride in making breakfast for my family,” she shared. “Mornings are fast. Gotta get the kids to school.”
One breakfast staple in the Sussex household? Bacon!
“I find when I’m cooking bacon, my kitchen very immediately becomes full of my husband and three dogs,” she joked.
Laughing, she even broke into song, singing a twist on Kelis’ hit Milkshake: “My bacon brings all the boys to the yard.”
Meghan also revealed that Harry has his own breakfast specialties: “H makes a really great breakfast.”
However, she also teased his love for salt. In episode two, Meghan told guest and actress Mindy Kaling: “I have a husband who no matter what meal is put in front of him, before he tastes it, always puts salt on it. So, I try to undersalt.”
“I love knowing that your husband likes it salty!” Mindy responded with a laugh.

Archie and Lilibet’s hobbies revealed in Netflix cooking show
Meghan shared that food and cooking are central to family life, with the kids associating homemade jam with their mum.
“My kids will come home smelling sweetness,” Meghan admitted, describing how the scent of fruit and preserves fills the house when she’s making jam.
She also revealed that daughter Lilibet, three, likes to help out.
Meghan said: “Lili and I made [a preserves] batch together. [She said] ‘No, mama I’ll do it. I’ll stir it, I’ll mash it.’ She’s proud. That part felt good!”
Throughout the eight episodes, the duchess revealed some sweet personal anecdotes about Lilibet and Archie.
Meghan gifted Vicky Tsai a harvest basket that included eggs from their backyard coop, which Archie named “Archie’s Chick Inn”. The coop was first revealed in Meghan and Harry’s 2021 Oprah interview.
Meghan also revealed that two of their chickens are named Phil and Jill, courtesy of Archie and Lili.
In episode five, Meghan shared that Lilibet has a favourite doll named “Stella Al Fresco,” which comes with a mini baguette and cheese.
Prince Archie ‘loves fishing’
Archie loves fishing! Meghan shared that during a recent family vacation, he caught two trout – which they later cooked for dinner.
“They loved it,” Meghan gushed. “It was very sweet.”
Like many toddlers, Lili loves making up songs.
While arranging flowers in episode five, Meghan shared that Lili has a go-to cleaning tune.
“Lili made a song, ‘Clean as you go! Clean, clean clean!'” Meghan laughed, explaining that her daughter reminds her to tidy up while she works.
Archie is also following in Meghan’s footsteps with a love for tea-making. “[Growing up,] I was taking a bag of tea and putting it in a mason jar or a jar that once held spaghetti sauce and putting it in the sun and sitting there and waiting for it to change colour,” she recalled in one episode. “Funny enough, [it] is what Archie does now.”

Prince Harry pokes fun at wife’s crafting in home video on With Love, Meghan
Meanwhile, Harry, 40, isn’t afraid to poke fun at Meghan, especially when it comes to her DIY skills.
A home video from 2020 is shown in With Love, Meghan. In it, Harry is heard laughing off-camera, asking: “What’s going on, my love?”
Meghan was making a balloon arch for Archie’s first birthday in May 2020.
“Making a balloon arch looks like a lot of work. You can say you did it for your kids,” she quipped.
Meghan also shared that Harry calls ladybugs ‘ladybirds’, revealing another cute British-American difference in their household.
Harry briefly appeared in the final episode, attending a brunch hosted by Meghan alongside her mother Doria Ragland.
As he arrives, he immediately kisses Meghan before complimenting her meal.
“Are the greens from the garden?” He asked, before adding: “Well done! You did a great job. I love it.”

Meghan’s home-cooking habits
Food plays a major role in the Sussex home. In episode three, Meghan shared that she often makes a colourful crudité platter because “that’s how our kids love eating vegetables”.
She also revealed her tricks for making healthy meals fun for her children.
The duchess said: “There are ways to make store-bought things look and taste even better. Even for our kids – why they love eating vegetables is because it looks colourful and fun.”
One of her cooking staples? Chia seeds! The duchess revealed that she likes to “sprinkle” chia seeds into pancakes and salads to add a little burst of goodness.
During a cooking session with celebrity chef Roy Choi, Meghan joked about how Lilibet reacts when she loves a meal.
As Meghan danced over the good food, she said: “My daughter does the same thing when she likes something she’s eating! She looked [like she] sways a little bit.”
Unlike her previous Netflix projects, this series steers clear of royal drama, focusing instead on joyful moments, cooking and meaningful connections.
While Harry only briefly appears on-screen, his presence is felt, whether it’s through Meghan’s stories or the sweet traditions they’ve built with Archie and Lilibet.
“It’s so much a part of what I want them to learn,” Meghan explained during the show, referring to Archie and Lilibet. “To have these great formative memories, like, ‘Oh, mama used to make this!'”
