Queen Camilla arrived at Cheltenham races today alongside other members of the royal family.

The queen, 77, looked stunningly chic in a brown ensemble, featuring a fur-rimmed hat she has worn on many occasions, for day two of the races.

Queen Camilla wows in Lock & Co faux fur-rimmed hat and brown dress at Cheltenham races

Queen Camilla was all smiles as she arrived at the races on Wednesday. The queen wore a mocha brown tailored coat dress, which had fur cuffs, with a light brown faux fur-rimmed hat from Lock & Co.

Then, Camilla finished off the look with a burgundy leather bag, black leather gloves and suede boots.

However, this isn’t the first time Camilla has worn the fur-rimmed hat from Lock & Co. She was seen wearing the hat at a Royal Ascot event in 2024.

She also wore it at the races in 2021.

On average, the Lock & Co hats cost around £345.

Camilla’s decision on wearing fur

In 2024, it was revealed that Queen Camilla would no longer acquire new animal fur for her wardrobe.

Animal rights charity PETA shared the news and praised the queen for the move.

A statement read: “PETA is toasting Queen Camilla with a glass of the finest claret for being a true queen by standing with the 95 percent of British people who also refuse to wear animal fur, as polls show.”

In addition, they said: “It’s right and proper for the monarchy to reflect British values by recognising that fur has no place in our society – and it makes the Ministry of Defence’s use of real bear fur for the royal guard’s caps ever more preposterous and out of touch.”

The move followed in the late Queen Elizabeth II’s footsteps as she made the same decision in 2019.

Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie join Camilla at Cheltenham races

Elsewhere on Wednesday, cousins Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie attended the Cheltenham races.

Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne, looked stunning in a grey pinstripe suit with a burgundy turtleneck. She added a burgundy hat and a matching clutch bag.

Meanwhile, Eugenie coordinated with Zara as she opted for a burgundy double-breasted coat with a matching hat. She added a small black bag to the look as well as black leather boots.

The pair were seen smiling and chatting to each other at the races. In addition, they were joined by their husbands Mike Tindall and Jack Brooksbank.
