Meghan Markle 'hopes to grow list of celebrity friends by setting her sights on Jennifer Aniston'

Five years after stepping back from senior royal duties, Meghan and Prince Harry, 40, have firmly settled into their Montecito life.
Meghan, 43, recently launched her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, and the duchess has announced a new podcast series this week.
But now, she apparently wants to build her circle of friends and is eyeing up some big names…
Meghan Markle ‘wants to become friends’ with A-list celebrity Jennifer Aniston
According to Radar Online, a source has claimed that Meghan is “frantic” to be back inside the “showbiz tent”.
Apparently, Hollywood actress Jennifer is “top of Meghan’s wishlist as a BFF”.
The insider added: “She has so much influence and prestige in the business and is on first-name terms with all the big power players.”
They apparently continued: “Meghan’s been chipping away in high hopes of a friendship with Jen, and word is she’s been asking for an introduction through their mutual friends for years now but it hasn’t quite happened yet.
“Jen’s been polite but she’s always so busy, and that 90-mile commute from Jen’s place in Bel-Air to Montecito makes it so much harder. But now, with Jen moving into her new place, it’s opening a whole new door for Meghan – and she couldn’t be more excited.”
Meghan’s been chipping away in high hopes of a friendship with Jen.
The source also claimed that Meghan is “hoping some of that charm rubs off” on Jennifer. The duchess is reportedly “determined to be her friend however long it takes”.

Meghan supported by celebrity friends after Netflix premiere
The Duchess of Sussex is no stranger to having A-list pals. Some of her close friends, including Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, featured on her Netflix cooking show.
Mindy joined Meghan for the second episode as the pair set up a children’s birthday tea party. Meanwhile, Meghan’s former Suits co-star Abigail appeared in the fifth episode where the duchess shared her hosting tips.

Another one of Meghan’s friends, tennis legend Serena Williams, praised the duchess on Instagram on the premiere day.
Serena gushed in a post: “Join my wonderful friend @meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, as she opens up her world and shares her personal tips for the kitchen, garden, and so much more. It’s a fun and inspiring series that reminds us all how easy it is to bring a little beauty into our everyday lives, even when we least expect it.”
