Prince William's behaviour during Estonia trip leaves fans in laughter: 'The people's prince'

Prince William is on a trip to Estonia this week and a sweet moment with fans have sparked laughter online.

The Prince of Wales, 42, travelled to the country later this week to support UK troops on the NATO frontline near the border with Russia.

As Prince William greeted well-wishers who had gathered to catch a glimpse of the prince during his engagements in Estonia, one person had a request for the royal.

Prince William plays rock paper scissors during Estonia trip

In a video shared by a fan on X, which you can see here, a person in the crowd appears to ask Prince William for a game of rock paper scissors.

The prince agrees and the pair throw out the different signs with their hands. They both made the ‘scissors’ sign with their hands, meaning they drew.

The fan online wrote: “A member of the public wanted to play ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ with Prince William when he was doing a walkabout in Estonia and guess what? HE OBLIGED,” followed by a laughing face emoji.

They added: “I am howlinggggg. This is why William will always be superior – the People’s Prince.” [Sic].

Others also found it amusing, seeing the future king playing the hand game.  One person gushed: “He is so cool.”

Another wrote: “Watch this becoming a part of future walkabouts. It’s going to be so cool,” followed by a laughing face emoji.

It comes as members of the public who got the opportunity to meet Prince William gushed about the moment to reporters.

Julius Lwanga told reporters, according to the MailOnline: “I asked for his autograph and he said he wouldn’t sing my book but would pose for a selfie. I feel over awed I’m going to the pub for a drink.”

Meanwhile, Jevgenia Hammerberg gushed: “I’m quite a fan of the royal family, I like the traditions and history not just the dresses of Kate Middleton.

“I think it was an amazing opportunity to meet somebody from the royal family in Estonia – it was really cool.”

A message shared to the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram page gushed over William’s first day in Estonia.

Alongside a video of moments of William’s first day, the post read: “An excellent first day in Estonia, experiencing the warmth and hospitality of this beautiful country.”

Royal fans gushed over the prince’s visit, as one said: “This prince is amazing. People relate to him like he is an old friend they have known forever. Young or old. They love him.”

Another added: “I loved your first day in Estonia and it was great to see so many people went out to see you! It was definitely a warm welcome.”
