Meghan Markle 'breaks her silence' after Gwyneth Paltrow appears to mock royal's cooking show
It comes hours after Gwyneth's video caught attention from fans...Meghan Markle has appeared to respond to Gwyneth Paltrow’s cooking clip – with her own.
The Duchess of Sussex has been giving fans more glimpses into her private life following her Netflix series With Love, Meghan.
Royal commentators had been speculating Meghan was hoping to jump onto the lifestyle guru bandwagon for sometime. It seems to be a reality as she prepares to launch her brand As Ever.

Gwyneth Paltrow fans convinced she mocked Meghan Markle in kitchen clip
Days after the Hollywood star, founder of Goop, had said she doesn’t see the royal as a rival, she uploaded a video cooking breakfast in her kitchen.
The 52-year-old, who has been considered one of the heavyweights in the lifestyle industry, shared a video on Sunday (March 23). In the clip we see her making breakfast in her pyjamas inside her kitchen. Her hair untouched, make-up free and dressed in a casual outfit, fans were convinced she was parodying the royal’s Netflix show.
Not only did she show off a mug with her initials in calligraphy – similar to Meg’s style – she used the song This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) which was used in clips throughout Mark’s show.
Meghan shares her own breakfast clip
Hours later, Meghan Markle has shared her own breakfast video, which some believe is the royal firing back at Gwyneth Paltrow.
Spending time with her friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, she unveiled her ‘re-invented banana split’.
Posting to her Instagram Story, in the first instance is 43-year-old Meghan is behind the camera laughing. This is as her ‘bestie’ places fruit and granola on top of a banana covered in yoghurt and jam.
Next, we see the mum-of-two and pal tuck into the meal and ‘cheers’ as they clink forks before taste-testing. She also managed to tag her own preserve brand As Ever. She included the caption: “When one of your besties reinvents a banana split for breakfast”.
Fans were convinced Paltrow was throwing ‘shade’ at the royal and it’s not clear if she’s retaliating.
One Twitter (X) user penned: “Omg! Meghan & Kelly try to throw shade back at Gwyneth Paltrow! This is a game they are going to lose.”

It’s not the first time
Last week Gwyneth Paltrow was accused of mocking Meghan Markle as she and fitness star Tracy Anderson cooked up a recipe.
Ms Anderson said in the clip: “I’m Tracy Anderson, and welcome to my actual kitchen.”
But she later added: “Absolutely no shade intended!”
Meghan’s show has been green lit for a second series. It’s said to be coming to the streaming giant later this year. Harry and Meghan signed up to a reported £77m contract with the service after stepping down as senior royals in 2020.
