'No truth' to Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie 'ballistic' fallout rumours
They were very close growing upReports claimed that Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie‘s relationship took a hit in recent months.
The Sussexes are said to have maintained a close relationship with Eugenie since leaving life as working royals. In recent weeks, claims circulated stating that Harry and Eugenie had previously suffered a falling out.
Now, an insider has spoken out and is shedding light on the situation…
Prince Harry ‘unhappy’ over Princess Eugenie move
According to The Sun, Prince Harry and Meghan were left unhappy with Eugenie after the 35-year-old was photographed with Piers Morgan in 2023.
Piers, of course, has been very critical of Meghan and Harry since their royal exit in 2020.
Eugenie has been supportive of Harry and Meghan for years and was right there at the beginning of their relationship — but it has now soured.
He infamously quit his job on GMB after a row over Meghan and Harry’s Oprah interview.
“A dim view was taken of this, as Piers has clashed with Meghan and Harry in the past,” a source told The Sun.
Princess Eugenie’s relationship with Harry and Meghan ‘soured’
“Eugenie has been supportive of Harry and Meghan for years and was right there at the beginning of their relationship — but it has now soured,” they claimed.
Meanwhile, Piers himself has spoken out about the claims on his show Piers Morgan Uncensored. He said: “That was because of me, the Eugenie thing, because she was having lunch with me and a group of people in a pub in London. I was seen hugging them goodbye and Harry saw this and went completely ballistic.
“I can confirm, breaking news, that is entirely true because he couldn’t bear it.”
Despite such fighting talk from Piers, a new source has insisted that there is “no truth” to his claims.

Insider sets record straight about Harry and Eugenie’s relationship
“The duke remains close to Princess Eugenie. They always have and always will be,” a source told PEOPLE.
And as other headlines claim Harry has been left isolated and unhappy since his move to Montecito, an insider claimed to the publication that the prince has fully embraced California life.
They explain how Harry’s focus is his children and that he is in a “happy bubble,” rather than alienated.
Elsewhere, a reunion with his family at his home is said to be in the pipeline, with Eugenie and her husband among the guests.
Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall are also rumoured to be tagging along as they are said to “have a lot of time” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
It seems though that an invitation is yet to be extended to William and Kate…
Inside Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie’s bond
Harry, 40, and Eugenie spent a lot of time together as children, thanks in part to Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson’s close friendship.
Meghan and Harry also reportedly bought a home at Portugal’s exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club. It just so happens to be minutes away from a property Eugenie and her family own.
‘Why’ Eugenie hasn’t shown Meghan support on Instagram
Earlier this year, Meghan set up an Instagram account. It marked the first time she’d had an account on the social media platform since before she’d joined the royal family.
However, one thing many a royal fan has noticed is that none of the other royals have followed, liked, or shared any of her posts.
Many would have thought that Princess Eugenie would have shown her support. However, the mother-of-two, who has her own Instagram account, has kept her distance from Meghan’s. Well, publicly, at least.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams spoke to GB News back in January about why he thinks Eugenie and the royals won’t be following Meghan’s account any time soon.
“The royal family wouldn’t touch them officially in that regard. But Eugenie is friendly with them and also has the Portugal connection. That could develop more conventionally. But I would be surprised if Eugenie ever liked or was openly supportive,” he said.
He also explained that Eugenie won’t show Meghan’s Instagram any support as it will mark her out as different from other royals.
“That would instantly cause comment that she was breaking from the rest of the royal family, who are clearly at a rift. So no one will do that,” he said.
