Netflix holding ‘crisis talks’ over Harry and Meghan deal amid duke’s ‘bullying’ row
Netflix is apparently not impressed with the latest scandalNetflix is reportedly holding ‘crisis talks’ over how to handle Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future on the streaming platform.
It seems renewing the royals’ reported $100million streaming deal could be off the table over Harry’s latest ‘bullying’ scandal. Meghan has a second series of her cooking show, With Love, Meghan, coming out in the autumn time.
But bosses are said to be furious over the timing of Harry’s latest scandal.
Harry, 40, sensationally stepped down from his Sentebale charity to “support” the board of trustees who had also resigned. This was following disagreements with chairwoman Dr Sophie Chandauka. Details of the row haven’t been confirmed, but reports claim it’s to do with funding. However, it wasn’t long before she hit back with a statement that targeted Harry.

Future of Harry and Meghan Markle Netflix deal ‘up in the air’
In Dr Chandauka’s lengthy statement she implied that the prince behaves “above the law” and “plays the victim card”.
But it seems the ramifications of the row has hit Netflix. And now they are worried about the future Meghan and Harry have with them, according to a source.
The source told RadarOnline that any “new deal could be dead in the water” as the bosses are said to be “fuming” over the latest development.
They claimed: “Here’s Meghan trying to sell products like fruit spread and crepe mix in conjunction with Netflix. And Harry is being accused of being a bully and abusing his power.”
According to the source, it isn’t a “great look” for the brand that Netflix is creating.
They added: “Talks have been held about where they go from here with the couple, because the air around them is toxic at the moment.”
But it seems it may not only be Netflix bosses who are annoyed at the controversy, as it’s reported Meghan’s own team may be feeling the consequences.
At the moment, the 43-year-old duchess is fully in her business era and the negative attention surrounding their family risks harming her new ventures.
The source admitted they don’t think “there will ever be a good or bad time” for Meghan to launch something, but the recent bullying allegations will be “a thorn in the side”.
They said: “This is a storm that has only started to build. And I think we won’t have heard the last of it from either Dr Chandauka or Prince Harry’s team, who I am sure will come out in full force to give their side of the scandal.”

Prince Harry Sentebale row
The Netflix news comes as Prince Harry’s friend said he was “upset” and “wounded” following the scandal.
Alex Rayner spoke to the Mail Online about Harry’s latest scandal, and admitted he had spoken to the duke over the weekend.
He said: “H is very happy for me to speak for him about how he feels about this awful situation. He is just beyond heartbroken and flabbergasted that the charity he founded as a teenager has been taken hostage by the chair.
“It feels tantamount to a hostile takeover. He is so upset and hurt and wounded about the things that are being said about him.”
However, Alex admitted it was “too early” to say exactly what Harry plans to do about the situation in the future.
