Prince Andrew makes appearance with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson for royal Easter service
The Duke and Duchess of York arrived with the royal family on SundayPrince Andrew attended the royal Easter service on Sunday alongside his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and other members of the monarchy.
The Duke of York, 65, is no longer a working royal following much scandal in recent years. He’s very rarely seen out with the royal family.
However, on Easter Sunday (April 20), he joined his family for the annual service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
A body language expert has weighed in on Andrew’s appearance, claiming he appeared “cocky”.

Prince Andrew arrived at the service by car alongside his Sarah, Duchess of York, his sister Princess Anne and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence.
As they arrived at the service, Anne and Sarah were seen talking to officials outside. However, Prince Andrew appeared to hurry towards the entrance before waiting for other members of the family to arrive.
Andrew’s body language signals were all about a kind of cocky arrogance here.
Shortly after, Andrew and Sarah’s daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie arrived with their husbands.
Prince Edward, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh also arrived with their son James, Earl of Wessex.
Last to arrive was King Charles and Queen Camilla as the family headed into the service. Prince William and Kate weren’t in attendance.

Why Prince William and Kate didn’t attend Easter service
Instead, the couple and their three children are spending Easter at their country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
A source told the Mirror last week: “They are choosing to spend time together as a family before the children go back to school.”
The couple also missed last year’s service as Kate was undergoing treatment for cancer. She had publicly announced her diagnosis just days before the service.
According to a lip reader, Prince Andrew made a comment about William and Kate at the service on Sunday.

Duke of York’s ‘cocky’ appearance at Easter service
Professional lip reader Jeremy Freeman spoke to the Mirror about the Duke of York’s appearance, claiming he made a comment about absent William and Kate.
However, Jeremy said it wasn’t clear exactly what was being discussed between Andrew and Anne’s husband Timothy. He suggested the duke mentioned the Prince and Princess of Wales and referenced a seating plan as they waited for the king and queen to arrive for the service.
Meanwhile, body language expert Judi James shared her thoughts on Andrew’s appearance. She said: “Andrew’s body language signals were all about a kind of cocky arrogance here. With his jacket undone he positioned himself in the gap in the middle of the group where he stood with his legs splayed in a pose of confidence.
“He evaporated back into the gloom of the porch once Charles arrived but that also gave him the option of walking into the chapel close behind the king and queen, perhaps with Fergie who seemed to have nipped to stand behind him.”
According to reports, the Duke of York now lives a rather quiet life at Royal Lodge in Windsor amid all the scandal surrounding him.

When did Prince Andrew step back from royal duties?
Andrew stepped back from his royal duties in late 2019 amid his association with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In 2022, Andrew settled a civil sexual assault case with his accuser Virginia Giuffre – an alleged victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking ring – out of court for an undisclosed sum.
The duke has always denied allegations of sexual assault against him.
