Prince Louis’ first official birthday photo
In his first birthday pictures in 2019, little Louis was all smiles with his cheeky grin. The first snap showed Louis in a blue knitted jumper, which featured a design of a dog, as he looked into the camera.
In a second photo, wearing a red knitted jumper, the tot showed off his first two teeth.
It was taken by mum Kate – who is an amateur photographer – at Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

Prince Louis has fun with paint in his second birthday photo
For his second birthday in 2020, again the Princess of Wales captured some sweet moments of her son.
The images showed Louis enjoying a spot of painting with his hands covered in different colours of paint.
He wore a blue checked shirt, as he showed off his hands to the camera.
William and Kate wrote on Instagram at the time: “Sharing a sneak peek of Prince Louis’ handiwork ahead of his second birthday!”

Prince Louis headed to nursery in third birthday snap
In 2021, Louis turned three. To mark the occasion, Prince William and Kate released a picture of Louis before he left for his first day of nursery.
The image saw Louis riding his bike whilst wearing a navy jumper, light blue shorts and his backpack. How cute!
Louis attended Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington.

Prince Louis at the beach for his fourth birthday
Another year later, Prince Louis was celebrating his fourth birthday. This time, the Prince and Princess of Wales captured a moment of Louis on the beach.
The picture saw the little boy playing with a ball on the beach in Norfolk.
He was wearing a grey knitted jumper, which featured different coloured stars on it, with a blue and white checkered shirt underneath.
Louis’ fifth birthday photo
For his fifth birthday in 2023, the young prince was captured by photographer Millie Pilkington.
The pictures – which you can see here – showed Louis playing around in a wheelbarrow with mum Kate laughing at him.
Millie said she felt “so honoured” to have been asked by the Princess of Wales to take the portraits.

Prince Louis’ sixth birthday image
In April 2024, the Prince and Princess of Wales released another adorable pic of Louis and he looked more grown up than ever.
Kate took the picture, which saw Louis lying on his stomach as he smiled for the camera. Many royal fans couldn’t believe how big he was getting.
One person gushed: “He’s a lot like Kate.”
Another shocked fan commented: “I swear he was a baby a year ago.”
Others spotted similarities between Louis and his older brother Prince George, and many thought he looked like mum Kate.

That brings us to today, as Prince Louis celebrates his seventh birthday. The Prince and Princess of Wales released a new image of a beaming Louis to their Instagram page.
The snap, taken by photographer Josh Shinner, shows Louis missing his front teeth as he smiles for the camera.
He wore blue jeans and a checked shirt with a knitted jumper over the top. The post read: “Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday!”
Fans loved the adorable photo, as one person gushed: “Ahh happy birthday Prince Louis, you are growing up so quickly and those missing teeth, just the sweetest.”
Another wrote: “Happy birthday Prince Louis! He looks like William here.”
