Meghan Markle has finally addressed a huge criticism of her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan.
The former actress and now hostess with the mostess shared a glimpse into her luxury lifestyle in her cooking and entertaining series which aired in March.
Set against a stunning Montecito backdrop, the Los Angeles born and raised actress showed off her timeless style and eye for details – but she didn’t show off her real home.
Instead, Meghan filmed at a rented mansion, instead of her own Californian abode. It was something that viewers scratched their heads at.

Finally, Meghan has explained why she chose to do that and, to be honest, it makes a lot of sense!
The Duchess of Sussex has made it clear time and time again that her two children, Archie and Lilibet, are her focus.
Speaking at the TIME100 Summit in New York on Wednesday (April 23), The Times quoted Meghan’s explanation.
It was here Meghan detailed why she felt filming her Netflix show away from her home was the best thing to do.
She reportedly said: “People said, ‘Why didn’t you film the show in your house?’. I said, ‘My kids are coming home for their nap.’
“80 people in the kitchen isn’t really the childhood memory I would love for them to have.”

Chatting to Time CEO Jessica Sibley, Meghan also reflected on her life in the public eye and how it impacts her, especially amid the backlash she has faced since her return to Netflix.
Discussing a quote from actress Tina Fey, Meghan said: “If you ever start to feel good about yourself, they have this thing called the internet, and you can find a lot of people there who don’t like you.”
I’m conscious of not just raising very strong and confident young woman, but also having a son.
The entrepreneur went on to say she’s “made a very, very conscious effort to create boundaries for myself and for my mental health, for my wellbeing and certainly to role model that as well for my children”.

No, With Love, Meghan was filmed at a jaw-dropping rented mansion in Montecito.
The duchess opted to shoot the series at a reported £5million ($8m) farmhouse which is, according to the Daily Mail, owned by local philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla.

If you fancy another glimpse at the stunning 4,500-square-foot property, you’re in luck, as a second series of the programme has been confirmed by Netflix.
Despite reviews suggesting that Meghan was “trying too hard”, the streaming service has renewed the show for a second season.

In her interview at the TIME100 Summit, Meghan went on to discuss parenting. She said: “I’m conscious of not just raising very strong and confident young woman, but also having a son.
“I think it’s just as paramount of importance for young men to be raised with a confidence and sense of self that is going to empower the women around them too.
“It starts with whatever is going on internally.
“When I am able to not even just tune out whatever that noise is, [but] to really not give it any credence, that has become so much a part of my day-to-day life.”
The Confessions of a Female Founder podcaster even went on to make her own confession about family life.
She said: “A confession for you today that I can very comfortably say is that I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.
“To have a partner and a husband who is so supportive and have healthy kids who are so joyful. I never would have imagined at this point I would feel so happy and grateful. I really do.”
