Meghan Markle sat down for a candid interview at the Time 100 Summit in New York yesterday, where Time CEO Jessica Sibley asked the duchess a number of questions about her recent launches.

It was here that the Duchess of Sussex discussed the launch of her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder and even made her very own confession about her life.

In her latest sit down chat, Meghan Markle really highlighted how important it is for her to be her “authentic” self.

Unsurprisingly, she followed this up with an honest admission about where she is in life, dubbing it as her “happiest” era.

Whilst on stage, Time CEO Jessica Sibley asked Meghan to make her own confession, similar to those Meghan probes out of the female founders she interviews on her podcast.

“I think the confession for you today, that I could very comfortably say, is I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” she gushed. “Of all the things that have happened in my life, I never would have imagined that getting here, at this point, I feel just so happy and grateful. I really do.”

The Duchess of Sussex has a string of reasons to be happy at the moment. Her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, defied all odds and was renewed for a second series despite dividing opinions and her new luxury lifestyle brand, As Ever, sold out in just 45 minutes!

Meghan, who appears on Time’s 2021 and 2018 list of the world’s most influential people, is very grateful for her “supportive” husband Prince Harry and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

The proud mum-of-two illustrated just how important her family is to her and described how Archie, 5, is hitting new milestones and that this is very special to her. She  explained: “Archie is losing his first tooth, and I just hope I’m back in time for it, that’s all that matters.”

Meghan also claims her current mantra is “just have fun,” and that her very own love language is showing up for those she cares about.

The former Suits star explained that she even finds taking care of people energising, rather than tiring.

She lovingly said: “My love language is taking care of people,” before urging the audience to do their best to give back to their communities. She insisted: “It actually energises you.”

Describing how she tries to brighten up a regular day, the Duchess of Sussex detailed: “Take flower sprinkles as an analogy and think about what you could do in your everyday life that can just have a little splash of magic on unexpected moments.”
