Reason Prince Harry 'took a step back' with Meghan Markle in New York as couple share kiss
The duke and duchess attended the TIME100 summit this weekPrince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out for an appearance in New York City this week and they shared a sweet kiss moment, shown on her Instagram account.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the TIME100 summit in the city on Wednesday (April 23).
Meghan, 43, was giving a talk at the event and Harry, 40, was there in support of his wife.
According to a body language expert, Prince Harry took a “conscious step back” at the event so Meghan could “take centre stage”.

Following the event on Wednesday, Meghan shared a montage video to her Instagram account. It showed many moments from the summit as she met with others who attended.
One moment in particular showcased Meghan and Harry’s loved-up nature as they shared a kiss backstage.
His actions suggest he is very conscious that this is her time to take centre stage right now.
Meghan captioned the video: “Feeling grateful for yesterday’s conversation at TIME100.”

Prince Harry took ‘conscious step back’ in New York with Meghan Markle
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Darren Stanton said: “The dynamic between Harry and Meghan at the moment is that Harry wants Meghan to have her moment in the limelight. So much emphasis has been placed on him in the last few months with the Invictus Games, and now it’s her turn.
“His actions suggest he is very conscious that this is her time to take centre stage right now, with her new Netflix show. An example of this would be Harry taking a conscious step back and allowing Meghan to take the lead more than him. He held back from being as present as he normally is.
“He won’t interrupt her during appearances or contribute, he will be comfortable in stepping aside.”
Meghan Markle ‘confident’ at TIME100 talk
Sharing his thoughts on the duchess, Darren said Meghan looked “confident” during her talk on stage.
He continued: “Meghan appears deeply confident in how she speaks. She comes across as being very strong-minded and knowing her worth while having a lot of resilience.
“She’s using open palm gestures while speaking to articulate her points more clearly, which is a way of telling us that she wants to be open and honest with those in front of her. Her posture is often well aligned and straight.
“All of these gestures are reassuring, but there’s a sense that her appearance is quite polished.
“I get the feeling she was aware of the attention on her during the event and wanted to present herself in the right way.”
