New reports claim Prince William and Princess Kate have big plans for VE Day.

The Prince and Princess of Wales will reconnect with a string of family members.

The reunion will mark the 80-year anniversary of Victory in Europe Day in just a couple of weeks.

Prince William and Princess Kate were notably absent from the royal’s Easter service at St George’s Chapel last weekend.

Prince William and Kate Middleton to reunite with family for VE Day events

The news comes just weeks after rumours swirled over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle touching base with some of their fellow royal family members including Mike and Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie.

Apparently, a family reunion could be in the works. However, apparently, no invitation to the Prince and Princess of Wales had been mentioned.

Elsewhere, fresh reports explain that Wills and Kate are also going to be spending quality time with their relatives…

Prince William and Kate will join the king and queen, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, Sir Tim Laurence and the Duke of Kent for events to mark VE Day.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will join. William and Kate and their esteemed entourage will reunite to watch a military procession arrive at Buckingham Palace on May 5.

The royals set to pay tribute to Second World War veterans

The family will be joined by Second World War veterans from the Royal British Legion to watch the military procession. The commemorations are being held to honour those who served during the Second World War.

A flypast will follow, where the royals will watch from Buckingham Palace.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are also set to host a Tea Party for veterans and members of the Second World War generation at Buckingham Palace.

They will also view a display of ceramic poppies at The Tower of London.

Guests will later attend a service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey which will host a live concert from Horse Guards parade to conclude the commemorations.

Harry and Meghan set for ‘family reunion’

It comes after reports swirled earlier this month, describing Zara Tindall, Mike Tindall and Princess Eugenie’s alleged plans to reunite with Harry and Meghan.

One source explained, speaking of Meghan Markle’s recent Netflix show, that Zara had reached out to Meghan. They said: “Unlike a lot of the royals, Zara and Mike did watch the show and they reached out to congratulate Meghan, which meant a lot to her.

“Both she and Harry are incredibly grateful for their loyalty and support. They know it’s not the easiest thing in the world to go against the grain. They’d love to host them in Montecito this summer.”

They added that if that didn’t work, they would likely meet up in Portugal, a regular haunt of the royals.

In a statement to OK, royal biographer Duncan Larcombe previously said: “The royals have stayed quite consistent and firm when it comes to Harry and Meghan. Eugenie is breaking ranks from the rest of the royals by being seen so publicly to endorse Harry and Meghan in their new life.”

As the royals swarm back together to enjoy the summer months, could this mean a reunion is on the horizon for Wills, Kate, Harry and Meghan?
