Reason Queen Camilla's sister finds it 'impossible' to curtsy to the royal
"I mean I sometimes look at her and I can't really believe it."Queen Camilla’s sister ‘can’t really believe’ that her own flesh and blood is on a throne with King Charles – and she finds it “impossible” to curtsy to her sibling.
The pair have a strong bond and been there for each other over the years, especially the past 12 months after His Majesty was told he had cancer.
Queen Camilla‘s sister, Annabel Elliot, is an interior designer and mother to a Conservative politician. But when it comes to her famous older sibling, the notion she’s a royal hasn’t sunk in.

76-year-old Annabel spoke to royal author Robert Hardman for Tatler following the couple’s 20th wedding anniversary.
She admitted she “still finds it impossible” to curtsy to the Queen Consort, despite Camilla being a royal for several years.
Other members of The Firm bow their heads and curtsy for the King and Queen, which is a tradition.
Although Charles and Camilla have been together publicly for decades, the idea of her big sister being the Queen is something she can’t always get her head around.
She said: “Obviously for [King Charles], it was always going to be.
“But I think she’s transitioned beautifully, actually. I mean I sometimes look at her and I can’t really believe it.”
The pair are close, with Annabel being named as one of Camilla’s ‘companions’ – the new take for a lady-in-waiting, which was used by Queen Elizabeth during her reign.

‘This cannot be happening’
Behind-the-scenes footage from King Charles’ coronation for the BBC documentary Charles III: The Coronation Year, saw Annabel become teary-eyed when she watched her sister Camilla become Queen.
She was at the historic day at Westminster Abbey, watching proudly from the sidelines.
Annabel said in the BBC documentary: “When I thought back to being two years old and watching the Queen’s [Elizabeth] coronation on a tiny black and white television, and there goes this golden coach with my sister in it.
“I can’t explain the feeling, because it’s so surreal. This cannot be happening. It was quite a moment.”

King Charles’ sister Anne praises his wife
The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, also spoke to Hardman about Camilla stepping up for her role by Charles’ side.
She said: “Her understanding of her role and how much difference it makes to the King has been absolutely outstanding.
“I’m sure lots of people do say to her what a difference she’s made, but that is really true. I’ve known her a long time off and on, and I think she’s been incredibly generous and understanding.”
Anne went on to add she had “no doubt” Camilla “made the difference” for the monarch.
