Kate Middleton and Prince William are celebrating their wedding anniversary in the country where their love story first began.
On April 29, the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay – as they are known in Scotland – marked their 14th wedding anniversary with a visit to Tobermory, a picturesque town on the Isle of Mull.
Locals lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the royal couple, who first met as students at the University St Andrews in Scotland over two decades ago.

Dressed in blue shirts and tailored blazers, the Prince and Princess of Wales looked effortlessly in sync as they toured the island.
Their itinerary included a visit to a community hub and artisan market, where Princess Kate impressed onlookers by using a nail gun to help build a sign for a local Community Pantry.
However, one moment in particular captured the hearts of many.
As the couple walked through Tobermory, Kate turned to William and flashed him a beaming smile and touched his back. The adorable moment was caught on camera and quickly shared online.
Later, a candid image shared on the couple’s Instagram story showed them laughing together at Aros Hall, an event space where they met with families and artisans.
Prince William and Princess Kate’s two-day visit to Scotland is focused on celebrating community resilience, sustainability, and connection.

Before their arrival, their official social media accounts shared a video preview of the trip.
“Welcome to the Inner Hebrides,” the caption read. “From exploring how islanders are protecting their natural world, to meeting young families who are shaping the future of rural life, we’re excited for an inspiring two days here celebrating the power of community and connection.”
The video even featured Banjo Beale, the BBC1 Interior Design Masters winner, who now calls the Isle of Mull home.

Their time in Scotland will continue on April 30, with a visit to an ancient woodland.
