Prince George made a heartwarming impression on royal fans when he confidently took part in an important visit alongside his parents, showing signs of the great king he is destined to become.
The 11-year-old royal joined Prince William and Princess Kate at a special tea party hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla at Buckingham Palace in May, where they honoured World War II veterans and their families.
Fans weighed in on George’s behaviour during the tea party and praised the young prince.

Prince George was photographed attentively listening to veterans’ stories, shaking hands and smiling warmly as he engaged in conversation, all with a natural composure well beyond his years.
Among the VE Day commemorations guests were extraordinary individuals. These included a 98-year-old former prisoner of war, a 99-year-old who served with the Desert Rats and took part in the D-Day landings, and a 100-year-old woman who worked in Churchill’s Secret Army.
Samantha Davidson, the granddaughter of 101-year-old D-Day veteran Alfred Littlefield, shared: “George even asked my grandfather how old he was during his service.”
The images of George interacting with the veterans were featured in a carousel post on the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account.

“Prince George is going to be a great future king!” another added.
“Awe, Prince George is growing up so fast,” a third gushed. “Looks like he is already doing a wonderful job at representing the royal family.”
A fourth added he was being ‘raised right’ by the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Jo Frost has now shared her thoughts on George, in particular, a photo showing him leaning forward next to dad William as they spoke to a veteran.
Jo told HELLO!: “This photo representing our future king William, mindfully being observed in detail as his 1st born young heir to the throne listens and learns holding space [and] empathy with those who have survived the incredible rich stories to share, told by a generation that will not longer be here but always remembered by the time Prince George is king.
“The real-life immersive experience of public duty, the shadowing of an empathetic strong future king, and the measure of confidence that will develop for Prince George from the consistency of doing as such in public.”
Praising William and Kate, Jo added: “Here we get to witness two parents with royal duty who have been an incredible example to their young children, already the children have experienced so much emotional vulnerability witnessing their parents through difficult circumstances and yet [they are] resilient.”
She insisted the couple are “doing a smashing job”.
What will Prince George be called when he’s king?
Although widely known now as Prince George of Wales, his official name as monarch might not be King George VII. Royal tradition allows monarchs to select any of their given names when ascending the throne.
Prince George’s full name is George Alexander Louis.
Prince George is going to make a wonderful king one day.
This means that his potential titles could be: King George VII, King Alexander or King Louis.
This flexibility means George might opt for a name that carries symbolic meaning or honours a specific relative.
This would follow his great-great-grandfather, King George VI. Despite being born as Albert, he chose to rule under the name George.

What happens if Prince George has no children?
Should Prince George become king and not have children, the line of succession would shift to the next eligible family member.
That would likely be his younger sister Princess Charlotte, followed by Prince Louis.
Royal succession follows absolute primogeniture, meaning gender no longer dictates the order. This change was implemented before George’s birth.
If George were to remain childless, Charlotte would be next in line, potentially becoming the first reigning queen in generations.
