Royals fans are going wild for a pair of gloves worn by Queen Camilla! The queen was snapped stepping out to visit an installation at the Tower of London as part of ongoing VE Day celebrations on May 6.

It was here that she rocked a red and black ensemble that royal observers can’t get enough of!

Queen Camilla rocks eye-catching gloves

Queen Camilla’s style is often understated, elegant and timely. The queen often opts for jewel tones, natural colours, furs and sensibility.

Yesterday, the queen visited a breath-taking installation at the Tower of London where she rocked a red dress and embroidered gloves. Her latest look highlighted the consideration Camilla, 77, puts into each outfit.

Alongside a string of snaps celebrating the event, the royal family official Instagram page detailed Camilla’s outing.

The caption stated: “The queen and Harrison Machin, 5, plant the final poppies in an installation at the Tower of London to mark 80 years since the end of the Second World War.

“This act of Remembrance saw Her Majesty representing all those who served the Nation, with Harrison planting his poppy on behalf of the younger generation.

“The Tower Remembers’ installation recalls the sacrifice and resilience of the wartime generation and will stand as a reminder of the long-lasting impact of conflict.

“The Tower, which was itself bombed during the Blitz, will display nearly 30,000 ceramic poppies on the lawn to mark the year of Remembrance.”

Camilla visits The Tower Remembers installation

The installation, called The Tower Remembers, showcases thousands of poppies representing a “wound” across the walls of the fortress, cascading under St Thomas’s Tower.

A fitting reminder of the bloodshed that was tragically endured 80 years ago.

In the photos, a beaming Camilla clapsed her gloved hands together.

Her poise showed off the black leather gloves embroidered with red poppies as she observed the installation.

Reports claim that Camilla said of her fashion choice: “It was so cold this morning I thought it would be the perfect time to wear them.”

Elsewhere, as Camilla walked around the installation, a crowd of tourists watched from behind a cordon. One man reportedly shouted: “God save the king! We all love Camilla! Give us a wave!”

Fans gush over Queen Camilla’s gloves

Meanwhile, fans gushed over Camilla’s eye-catching accessories on social media.

One penned: “Her Majesty the queen looks stunning! Love the queen’s gloves.”

“The queen’s gloves are everything,” said another.

“Love the queen’s gloves,” chimed in a third.

A fourth added: “What a lovely outfit for the queen.”

“She looks good in this red with the black wrap and gloves. Sweet picture,” said a fifth.

Camilla’s striking style choice comes after she paid tribute to her late mother-in-law Queen Elizabeth II by sporting an 144-year-old heirloom once belonging to her.

May 6 amarked two years since the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. On Tuesday, the king and queen unveiled their official coronation portraits.

It was here that Camilla’s dazzling diamond brooch was put on display. Camilla’s brooch of choice elegantly complimented her red wool crepe dress by Fiona Clare.

According to British Royal Jewels, the brooch can be traced back to 1881. It was presented as a wedding gift to Cecilia Nina Bowes-Lyon, Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne.

Queen Camilla sports heirloom from Queen Elizabeth II

The countess was said to be a collector of fine jewellery and treasured the piece, later handing it down to her descendants.

Newspaper clippings from the time of the countess indicate that she specifically bequeathed “my yellow diamond cross” to her daughter, Queen Elizabeth.

Ultimately, her daughter would later become the Queen Mother, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, King Charles’ grandmother.

Undoubtedly, the sparkling cross brooch made for a perfect addition to Camilla’s crowd-pleasing outfit.
