Prince Harry may have seemed like just another fan at Beyoncé’s final Cowboy Carter concert, but his hat carried a secret message dedicated to his children.

Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle, 43, made headlines once again after stepping out for a glitzy date night at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday, May 9.

However, it wasn’t just their loved-up selfies or VIP status that got fans talking.

Meghan posted a snap of the inside of Harry’s cowboy hat, which showcased a series of custom inscriptions that appeared to pay tribute to his wife and their two children.

The pricey Kemo Sabe cowboy hat, worn proudly by the Duke of Sussex, was embroidered with the heartfelt words: “My Love,” “Lili,” and “Archie”, a clear nod to the three most important people in his life.

The hat also featured small UK and US flag motifs, a subtle reminder of Harry’s transatlantic ties.

Elsewhere, a body language expert has since weighed in on Harry and Meghan’s PDA at the event.

How many children does Prince Harry have now?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have two children.

Their eldest Prince Archie was born May 6, 2019. Their daughter Princess Lilibet – affectionately nicknamed “Lili” – was born June 4, 2021.

The family reside in Montecito, California, after Harry and Meghan stepped away from royal duties in early 2020.

They have spoken often about their commitment to raising their children in a more peaceful, private environment, far from the tabloid spotlight they experienced in the UK.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend Beyoncé concert

Meghan shared several photos and videos from their night at the SoFi Stadium on social media.

Among the highlights included Harry planting a kiss on Meghan’s cheek, and the duchess getting emotional during Beyoncé’s performance of 16 Carriages.

In one post, Meghan captioned a photo of Harry’s personalised hat: “My husband’s hat gets a twirl.”

Thank you, Beyoncé, and your team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)!

The luxury Aspen-based hat brand Kemo Sabe offers full customisation, with options for silver accents, feathers, monograms and unique stitching, all hand-moulded to fit the wearer.

“About last night…. Thank you, @beyonce, and your team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love,” Meghan captioned the post.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, body language expert Darren Stanton said of the couple’s PDA: “They seem quite solid together. It’s a really positive set of photos, with genuine smiles coming from both of them. We can see that their whole faces are engaged – these photos clearly aren’t staged for social media.

“Harry in particular looks genuinely happy. When you zoom in on his face, there’s crow’s feet and laugh lines at the side of his eyes. His whole face is engaged, which tells me that he’s displaying a true emotion of genuine happiness and joy.

“In the photo with his arms around Meghan, he looks really comfortable with displaying his affection. It’s not often we see this level of PDA between the couple, so it shows that they’re in a really strong place currently.”

It comes weeks after the couple faced rumours they could divorce. But it seems they’ve perfectly shut down those claims!

Harry and Meghan’s friendship with Beyoncé

This isn’t the first time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have crossed paths with Queen Bey.

The couples famously met at the 2019 Lion King premiere, where Beyoncé reportedly referred to Meghan as “my princess”.

The friendship continued to develop in the public eye. After Meghan and Harry’s explosive 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé praised Meghan for her bravery.

“Thank you, Meghan, for your courage and leadership,” Beyoncé wrote on her website. “We are all strengthened and inspired by you.”

Meghan even recalled receiving a text from Beyoncé during filming for the couple’s 2022 Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan.

“Beyoncé just texted,” Meghan told the camera, visibly surprised. “She said she wants me to feel safe and protected. She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and thinks I was selected to break generational curses.”
