Prince Harry may make a surprise appearance at Trooping the Colour 2025, according to new odds.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, has been tipped at 5/2 odds to attend the monarch’s official birthday celebrations in London this June.

Trooping the Colour will take place on Saturday, June 14. It celebrates the monarch’s official birthday with a procession and a flypast.

Following Harry’s recent BBC interview, where he spoke openly about his fractured relationships and desire to reconnect with his family, speculation has soared over whether Harry might take part in any major royal events this year.

“There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,” Harry told the BBC. “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious.”

In light of this, Gambling Industry News spokesperson Jose Del Pozo said interest in Harry’s movements has sharply increased.

Prince Harry’s recent remarks about wanting to return to the UK have reignited speculation around his potential involvement in key events this year,” Jose said.

“While the odds still lean towards him staying away for much of 2025, there is notable interest in his attendance at traditional occasions such as Trooping the Colour and Remembrance Sunday, reflecting public curiosity about any reconciliation with the royal family.”

The odds suggest that Harry is more likely to attend Trooping the Colour than any other event this year. He is currently priced at 5/2 to attend the June ceremony.

In comparison, he has been given 3/1 odds to attend Remembrance Sunday.

However, the most likely scenario according to the bookmakers is that Harry will not return to the UK for the remainder of 2025. These odds are set at 6/4.

But if King Charles reaches out with an invitation for Trooping the Colour, could Harry attend?

Did Prince Harry go to the Trooping of the Colour?

Trooping the Colour is a grand military parade and flypast that traditionally features the full royal family gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

If Harry attends this year, it will mark his first appearance at the event since 2019, before his royal departure.

There is notable interest in his attendance at traditional occasions such as Trooping the Colour.

While there has been no official confirmation from the palace about whether Harry has been invited or will attend, insiders suggest that King Charles could be open to reconciliation, despite the ongoing strain in their relationship.

The king is said to be sad over the limited contact with Harry’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

In addition, the king’s actual birthday in November is another possible occasion for a royal reunion. The odds on Harry attending any celebrations are currently 2/1.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have remained largely distant from royal life. The couple stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and relocated to California.

The couple have only returned to the UK on a handful of occasions. These include Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022 and Harry attended King Charles’ coronation in 2023.

For now, all eyes are on June. The annual Trooping the Colour celebration could either mark a significant step toward mending royal ties or highlight the continued divide.
